HAS ANYBODY SAID IT YET? BOYCOTT THE OSCARS (Oscars Live Thread)

I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...

I'll be doing my part. I have zero interest in the Oscars.

Does it count as a boycott if you've almost never watched them before? Or do you have to have been an Oscar watcher and stop watching?
Such confusion!

I used to watch them all the time and my husband and I are not watching this year. I love to go to movies, but I am tired of the types of movies Hollywood is producing. They only produce them for their other movie associates. They don't care about the fans. If they did they would make movies they know we like and that we would go to see. They are so self important.

Drudge will tell us everything we need to know. Why would we waste our time? As far as women wanting to know what celebrities are wearing, that'll be shown on all the news shows tomorrow. Great night to read a book or give the spouse a back rub (or both).
