In case you and I are the only two viewers of CSPAN this morning, I will share with you that I was on the open line segment about 8:55, asking why CSPAN did not cover the President's trip to India and Pakistan.
The host told me that they would have had to buy a "package" of the coverage from the pool, and the price at $50,000, was considered not to be a wise expenditure of their limited funds.
CSPAN radio, in the DC-Balto area, will replay the press conference in Islamabad today.

NYTimes says that Renana Brooks, a clinical psychologist practicing in Washington who said she had counseled several White House correspondents, said the last few years had given rise to "White House reporter syndrome," in which competitive high achievers feel restricted and controlled and become emotionally isolated from others who are not steeped in the same experience. Some in the DC Press are seeing a shrink and it's all Bush's fault ???

Wise expenditure of their funds either they are in the news business or not.
Sorry forgot they only buy the bits they want their viewers to see/hear not that may change people's perception of what or who the President is and what he achieves.

Due to the magic of television General Pace is on my TV with Chris Wallace (not Timmy), and CW is not laying a glove on him.

I heard that... I almost givin' up on CSPAN since the bias on WJ is getting worse and worse.
I think its up to 1 Republican caller for every 6 'democrat' communist kooks, 4 'independant' democrat party hacks, and 4 'democrat' republicans who 'voted for bush' but now hate him.
I had a bad experience with the call screener to that effect as well (refusing my comment as 'off topic' becuase I was a Repuclican who is NOT dissatisfied with Bush, while obivious democrat seminar callers get rhough 'on topic' on teh Republican line.
Its disgusting to think that someone from outside the US might actually think the calls there are representative of anything.
