That picture ought to be sent to Bartlett the admitted atheist.
Agreed. Really like you comment in the first paragraph. Bush bashing has backfired on Democrats and old media time and again.
It wasn't tough, but this was my main MSM meme prediction for this week:
Now to see of ABC and CNN follow through
I think CBS will have a slight variation because of the presence of Murtha:
Juan's 'Bush Bashing" comment was clearly mocking Republicans, BUT he did go on to say Pubbies would rally by election time and not lose control of the house. I can't explain that!
These people disgust me. The record of who said what and when is on FR, and most of the press is deliberately twisting the record of events. I hope that someday they get what is coming to them.
I only had Fox News on....so I don't know what the rest of the media was doing. I just know that what was being reported by Shep had no basis of reality.
Brit Hume is one of the few on ANY network that has the respect a person in his position deserves. One voice of reason in a sea of crap.
Did you hear Russert ask Edwards if Katrina exposed the racial divide, and his response lobbed into "poverty" as if that is the root cause of any racial divide, then went into a nice advertisement of himself, saying "America" hasn't done enough, blacks should start savings accounts and we should give matching their deposits. No joke. Not a bit about racial divide. It was all about poverty.
Translation: blacks are poor and it's whitey's fault and I am the Savior.
Exactly, Russert only has Buckley on his progam when he will trash Pubbies and the President specifically, or if he wants to talk about "DRUGS". I think that the Bush trashing has gotten so over the top that the American Public will do one of two things. They will either agree with the cadre of Bush Bashers, and trash him also, or they will sympathize with The President being unfairly picked on by a bunch of nasty, jealous, worthless, over the Top Politicians and MSM. The Pubbies that are trashing GWB are like those idiots that yell "Fire" in a crowded Theatre and get trampled to death in the resulting melee. They are beyond tone deaf, stuck on stupid, they are just dumber than dirt.
Thanks for posting the list
Thanks. There is no TV here in my office so I have to rely on freepers interpretation. Not always a good idea. You certainly cleared that up for me.

LOL. That summarizes it perfectly.
They're great partners to the Donner Party.
The last week or so I have been trying to get my little gbc brain around the all out assault on Bush by the MSM and the Dems. In my 30 plus years of following politics I have never seen this level of vitriol mixed with disingenuous reporting of "facts".
We all know the afore mentioned go into attack mode when the Dems are about to be faced with situations that put them in a bad light. But what could be out there that could generate this incredible level of hysteria? Then last night this appeared on Free Republic and things started to make sense.
But what of the Republicans? Our "friends" on the right side of the aisle are putting on the cleats and jumping on GW as well? Folks, IMHO, the people in government who take seriously their pledge to defend this nation against enemies both foreign and domestic are engaged in balls to the wall investigations to get to the bottom of these dangerous leaks about the way we fight this war on terror. Of course we know the usual suspects, but we will be surprised at the others who get swept up by these inquiries? Perhaps not.
We are a civil society, so prisoners will be taken, because they are due their day in court.
The perpetrators can only try to run out the clock. They must discredit the president and those guilty by association in order to get control of the congress. If they get that in large enough numbers, impeachment proceeding will follow. If they only get a small majority, they will at least attempt to bottle up investigations as they have done in the past.
The Republicans who have turned on the President are gutless. Their first priority is their own reelection not good governance or defense of this nation. This nation's best hope is the primary selection of people who will stand with Bush in defense of this nation.
This election cycle has the potential to go badly for this nation. It doesn't have to happen. Those who would do harm to this republic should be identified and prosecuted. It is long past time.
Much like Iraq. The media hangs out in Baghdad, the center of the unrest. Baghdad was Saddam Hussein's playground. Of course, the citizenry there hates us.
Barney Franks stated the other day that what is happening in New Orleans is ethnic cleansing by the government because it will be too expensive for the poor to move back to NO
I have noted the behavior of people during the last few months. I have a list of people whose writings I now ignore and will not purchase, and a list of people whose candidacies I will not support.
As I said about Bill Frist in his response to the UAE controversy, anyone who is easily stampeded by the media and the democrats does not have the leadership skills for the presidency. Period.
The military doesn't want another Sheeham running around the globe badmouthing America.
