Hillary Clinton, a leading opponent of DP World's takeover of some US port operations, was this week forced to admit that she did not know her husband had advised Dubai leaders on how to handle the growing dispute.
But former President Bill Clinton's ties to Dubai and the United Arab Emirates should not have come as a surprise to his New York senator wife.
Mrs Clinton's own senatorial financial disclosure forms reveal that her husband earned $450,000 giving speeches in Dubai in 2002.

This is true and has been verified.
In fairness: That Bill was advising Dubai is a "connection," and that Hillary didn't know about it doesn't pass the giggle test.
But the bit about the speeches is bogus. Bill gave 62 speeches in 20-some countries in 2002 alone, and the two in Dubai -- $300K and $150K -- weren't the cheapest or most expensive. The "connection" is weak.
I don't know if Billy figured he'd stashed away enough cash, but the number of 6-digit speeches in the US and abroad peaked in 2002, and then trailed off. Only half a dozen in 2004.
I can't compare the speeches or compensation for other ex-presidents, because they don't have wives in the Senate who have to file disclosure forms.

This isn't the job of this faction of the "Two-Party Cartel". They are suppose to tell us how conservative they are & working to combat the socialism but when ACTION is involved they are always AWOL.

I agree. They rely on the average Americans incredibly short memory. It is very likely that this is preemptive damage control.
My brother can actually do that if you can believe it. He has all this computer hardware where he can take a scene say from the Exorcist, put a film of Hillarys face over Linda Blairs, and you would swear it was Hillary in that movie being exorcized instead of Linda Blair. That pic I made myself though. My brother is the exact opposite of me, he is liberal while I am conservative so he wont do a Hillary film. He does Bush ones though which drive me nuts, he has one of Bush as Hitler at the Nuremberg rallys. He has a close up of Bush saying "If you aren`t with us you are against us" (or whatever he says) and then you see the massive crowd of Nazis screaming Zeig Heil! I told him sarcastically of course he won`t make one of Saddam or Al-Qaeda being that they are completely innocent. Liberals like him just don`t understand that we didn`t go to war by choice, we had NO choice! It wasn`t a yes or no decision by Bush, he had NO choice! I mean for crissakes, he took an oath to protect the constitution and here these animals tried to fly jet planes into it, literally! Never in the history of this country has a more direct assualt ever occurred against the constitution of the United States, not even in the Civil war. I mean how much more reason do you need?

Bill is a very good Liar. Hill, is rather less so. Of course, it is harder for the magician when you know how the trick is done.
