Off thread topic but what the heck! It's too good to pass up.
The Air Force's present-day F-15 Eagle flies alongside a World War II-era P-51 Mustang during practice runs for the annual Heritage Flight Conference, which continues through Sunday at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The P-51 escorted U.S. bombers over Nazi Germany and helped the Allies break the Luftwaffe's dominance. The Korean War-vintage F-86 Sabre also is among the historic aircraft here for the conference, in stark contrast with Air Combat Command demonstration teams flying the A-10 Thunderbolt II and F-16 Fighting Falcon through Tucson skies.
