CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Authorities say 23-year-old Mohammed Reza Taheriazar drove a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee drove into The Pit at the UNC-Chapel Hill campus around noon Friday, injuring five students and a visiting scholar.

Yes but he was still living in University Commons, could have been a graduate student that got a bad grade. I'm not necessarily discounting the whole Islam aspect though

I walked by the scene about 40 minutes after it happened.
I think he drove between Lenoir and Davis and then got out on Lenoir Drive.
There are three yellow post between Lenoir and Davis to prevent someone from doing just what this freak did. They collapse to let maintenance vehicles through. Two of the three posts were down when I walked through the area. They've been down for most of the week and probably longer than that.
