People that must invent some excuse to legitimatize the actions of their ancestors, otherwise the must acknowledge that their ancestor waged a war against self-government that slaughtered hundreds of thousands needlessly. Our people simply wanted to separate, to be left alone, to re-establish the government that the founders gave us, free from the sanctimonious liberals that worship big-government and the nanny state. Lincoln was the ultimate liar, government of the people would not disappear with a union loss, it disappeared with a union victory. They invent they excuse that the union fought to free slaves, but if that were true why didn't they invade dozens of other countries to end slavery? Why did they exclude blacks up North? Why did they vote against extending the right of suffrage to blacks after the war?

The south haters simply can't stand the thought that their ancestors were bigots and racists, desiring an America free from blacks, just as Lincoln himself championed. While in office Lincoln repeatedly advocated repatriation/colonization. Nolu Chan was banned for simply posting the words of Lincoln to that effect. The south haters can't have their mythological "saint" presented factually, so their efforts are dedicated to slamming those that post the truth.
