"Our Lord and Saviour - Jesus the Christ - never once condemned a slave-owner, he healed the centurion's slave instead, and commanded that those in servitude honour their masters, just as he commanded masters to honour their servants."

Your comments seem to correlate with that of other fanatical neo-confederates who use the Bible as the foundation for their ongoing agenda.

"This page is dedicated to the cause of preserving God's divine law. The contents herein support the ideology of slavery as an institution appointed by God. The arguments are informative and convincing. If a supporter already or looking for information, this site is worthy to of consideration."

Is your statement the sole justification for remarks made by the likes of the "Confederate's" #2 man & - Alexander Stephens "Little Aleck" of Georgia who owned 34 slaves and several thousand acres. A guy which had a real vested interest in slavery continuing.

"The great question of the permanence of slavery in the southern states," he said, "was critical to maintaining the union."

There is always Stephens well known & infamous Cornerstone Speech made on March 21st, 1861, in Savannah, Georgia.

"our new government was founded, its foundations are laid, [and] its cornerstone rests upon the great truth that the Negro is not equal to the white man. That slavery, submission to a superior race, is his natural and normal condition. This is our new government," (Sounds like Adolph did the 1930's)

Not to worry since after the Civil War ended Stephens was captured and imprisoned in Fort Warren, Boston Harbor, where he had the privilege of daily New England coastal scenery.

Jeffy Davis, the run-a-way head slave master, caught attempting to escape to Cuba - in a ladies dress down in GA. Old Jeffy had sea side views too - of the Tidewater region of Virginia while in prison at Fort Monroe, only when allowed out of the appropriate leg irons, the same type slaves wore! Davis tasted the day in, day out humiliation of human bondage he so rigorously promoted by triggering the Civil War. Reciprocity was served!

Another sample from "Confederate" #1:

"Under the mild and genial climate of the Southern States and the increasing care and attention for the well-being and comfort of the laboring class, dictated alike by interest and humanity, the African slaves had augmented in number from about 600,000, at the date of the adoption of the constitutional compact, to upward of 4,000,000."

Jefferson Davis speech Montgomery, April 29th, 1861

"Our people simply wanted to separate, to be left alone, to re-establish the government that the founders gave us, free from the sanctimonious liberals that worship big-government and the nanny state."

Don't you agree with your pro-slavery hero?

"The white population of the Southern slaveholding States had augmented form about 1,250,000 at the date of the adoption of the Constitution to more than 8,500,000 in 1860; and the productions of the South in cotton, rice, sugar, and tobacco, for the full development and continuance of which the labor of African slaves was and is indispensable.."

Jefferson Davis speech Montgomery, April 29th, 1861

Here is another Davis quote you should enjoy made on July 6th, 1862.

"All negro slaves captured in arms be at once delivered over to the executive authorities of the respective States to which they belong, to be dealt with according to the laws of said States."

In your opinion how should those escaped Southern slaves, fighting to end slavery "be dealt with according"?

Yet another Davis quote from the same speech:

"That the like orders be executed in all cases with respect to all commissioned officers of the United States" when found serving in company with armed slaves in insurrection against the authorities of the different States of this Confederacy"

Are you going to tell everyone traitor Davis never made these insidious statements and every quoted comment by the Slave Empire's top dogs are just "damnyankee lies".?

ADJT. AND INSP. GENERAL'S OFFICE, Richmond [Va.], December 24, 1862. GENERAL ORDERS, No. 111.

If you and your pal Stand were honest the both of you would state the winds of the Civil War were fanned by countless pro-slavery speeches from Slavery Inc's leading politicians and like minded Southern newspaper editorials.

"Governor Joseph Brown, clearly explained why the state Georgia was conned into seceding from the United States of America by the state's political bunch. He said that Lincoln was "a mere instrument of the great triumphant party [the Republican party], the principles of which are deadly hostile," not to states rights, not to tariffs, not to internal taxes, but "deadly hostile to the institution of slavery."

Wow!.....for once some truth from the original "Confederate" side!

Editorial opinion in the 1861 Augusta Daily Constitution agreed: "our ideal is a pro-slavery republic,"

Alabama's Robert Hardy Smith "We have dissolved the late Union chiefly because of the Negro quarrel." The ardent proponents of "Confederate" insurrection were able to con even the small, slave-less farmers of the South, thus making the issue of maintaining & the expansion of slaveocracy transcendent to one of "state's rights". Southern proponents of the expansion of the slavery's corporate empire, knew that if slavery were forever confined to the areas in which it existed in 1860, it would eventually be abolished even there since the majority of the civilized nations had already acted and abolished slavery. The sore pro-slaver losers of the 1860 election felt their only recourse was to incite full scale civil war in order to "continue their way of life".

Do you, like Mr Stand, coupled with that insignificant collection of raging Lew Rockwellian, neo-confederate cheerleaders advocate a forced "Dixie Republic" ripped from the United States in 2006 - or do you require additional time in order to plot with Civil War toy soldiers? Or would you rather carve out a so-called "Dixie Republic" from selected American states utilizing more anarcho-neo-confederate methods?

This is the flag real Americans fly:

What is one of the more mirthful idioms on these threads is the non-sequitur that we in the South live our lives to further the rebellion as if the South would rise again. We "Can't get over it" or something like that.

Yet we have, as our fellow debaters, northern revisionists who have taken a lot of time, a looooootttttt of time, to work on their cut and pasties in order to re-enforce the dogma of North-good-South-bad. It's as if Willy Shakespeare himself were asking about the "protest" that is "too much".

I'm sure there are half-assed moronic selective and distorted "quotes" ready to be posted about Grant's heroin use and cannibalism to argue against the obvious truth of Slavery's destructive path through American history and the Pathetic and Arrogant Insurrection it which ended it.

Of all the absurd LIES the RAT Rebellion's advocates swallow the greatest is that the United States was NOT a Sovereign nation.

"our new government was founded, its foundations are laid, [and] its cornerstone rests upon the great truth that the Negro is not equal to the white man. That slavery, submission to a superior race, is his natural and normal condition. This is our new government," (Sounds like Adolph did the 1930's)

From Lincolns 1st debate with Douglas 21 Aug 1858:

I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and the black races. There is a physical difference between the two, which in my judgment will probably forever forbid their living together upon the footing of perfect equality, and inasmuch as it becomes a necessity that there must be a difference, I, as well as Judge Douglas, am in favor of the race to which I belong, having the superior position. I have never said anything to the contrary.

From Lincolns 4th debate with Douglas 18 Sep 1858:

I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will for ever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.

From Lincolns speech of 17 Jul 1858:

I also yield to all which follows from that necessity. What I would most desire would be the separation of the white and black races.

From Lincolns 14 Aug 1862 speech to a deputation of blacks in the White House (advocating their removal from America):

But even when you cease to be slaves, you are yet far removed from being placed on an equality with the white race. ...

It is better for us both, therefore, to be separated. ... You may believe you can live in Washington or elsewhere in the United States the remainder of your life [as easily], perhaps more so than you can in any foreign country, and hence you may come to the conclusion that you have nothing to do with the idea of going to a foreign country. This is (I speak in no unkind sense) an extremely selfish view of the case.

But you ought to do something to help those who are not so fortunate as yourselves. There is an unwillingness on the part of our [Northern] people, harsh as it may be, for you free colored people to remain with us.

There is much to encourage you. For the sake of your race you should sacrifice something of your present comfort for the purpose of being as grand in that respect as the white people.

If you're looking for a comparision to Hitler, try looking further North to Lincoln.

Here's some more repulsive rhetoric from the the rancid rebellion.

...Slaveless whites in such a confederacy would be socially degraded as well as politically disfranchised. In mid-September 1860, Alabama fire-eater William L. Yancey delivered a speech in Knoxville in which, according to Brownlow's account, he observed that one of the advantages of slavery was that it provided a labor force for "degrading work" and "menial service," whereas in the free states whites had to fulfill this role. For weeks thereafter, Brownlow reminded readers of Yancey's remarks, stressing that his disparaging comments about the dignity of manual labor were an affront to nine-tenths of his audience.

The movers and shakers of the South were too good for menial and "degrading work". What a contemptible society. Any poor southerner who fought for such a trashy system was a misused sucker and the best thing that could have happened for such confederate cannon fodder was their quick defeat at the hands of our US Army.

Sadly there's always been an element of southerners that will suffer any exploitation and overlook any injustice if they can be fooled into thinking it's for "The South".
