Just how stoned was David Gregory yesterday on Imus? Will this story have never happened by sometime tomorrow? Will the old media be successful in covering for him?
Or, will David get handed a cup when he comes home?

It's a running joke on Imus to be accusing guests that call in of being drunk.
What was interesting in this case was how they couldn't get him off the air fast enough. It was very obvious they were trying to protect him.

Bill O'Riley defended Gregory on his program last night saying he was probably just tired. I only watched O'Riley to hear what he was saying about the situation. I had no idea he was going to defend DG.

It became the news because some humorless dunderhead gave Drudge a tip and Drudge ran with it.

If Gregory even qualifies as a reporter, WHY are reporters interviewed nowadays as if their opinions matter??? Gregory is at best a dolt, and I'm supposed to care what he thinks about world events because he asks (usually rude) questions at news conferences?

It became the news because some humorless dunderhead gave Drudge a tip and Drudge ran with it. He still, acted totally unprofessional for a journalist covering the president, especially since this was an overseas trip. I don't know if he was drunk or Stoned and never said he was just think he was acting unprofessional. Report the news, if we want comedy we have plenty of horrible liberal comics in the US already.

Came up again this morning as Imus blasted O'Reilly for going after Gregory.O'Reilly was nice about Gregory...... he surmised that Gregory was just sleepy and exhausted.

You started this thread five minutes after I told you I thought you were drinking the kool aid. Have some doubts? You are just making it worse by perpetuating this non-story.What are you talking about?

Maybe so but I don't watch Imus for the news. I watch it to laugh. I get my news from FR, mostly.

O'Reilly was nice about Gregory...... he surmised that Gregory was just sleepy and exhausted. Exactly, but pmsnbc has a jihad against Fox News.

You'd be better not talking about this subject. You apparently don't know much about it and have never or seldon "used".

You disappoint me, bts, you're drinking the Hate-Imus Kool Aid.
Gregory would be out the door by now if he had been drunk during that call yesterday.
Riding the "Drunk Gregory" dead horse is only giving the anti-freepers ammunition.
