Just how stoned was David Gregory yesterday on Imus? Will this story have never happened by sometime tomorrow? Will the old media be successful in covering for him?
Or, will David get handed a cup when he comes home?

The wedding is June 11, 4pm. ;O)
He was on duty because he was on the air in a professional capacity. Imus didn't have him on the show because he's a buddy, Imus had him on the show because he's NBC White House correspondent. Further, Gregory has his employer's reputation in his hands when he appears in public representing them.
Dinner with a reporter is different because . . . no camera. And if Gregory had been surreptitiuosly recorded in this condition it would be different.
But in this case, that interview was on duty.

I agree completely. I honestly don't care if somebody gets drunk or stoned, and you gotta feel for a guy who, instead of drunk-dialing his ex-girlfriend drunk dials into a live television show----but to suggest that it was all an act isn't very plausible.

Let's run the audio 24/7, then take a poll. The greatest suggestion today.
I'd say around 80% to 90% of relatively intelligent past or present users of marijuana would say David G. was high......... not drinking and not faking it.

I think you are taking this much more seriously than I am..I just enjoyed Gregory having the giggles and not communicating as a reporter should on a Presidential trip of this magnatude..
I do not accuse him of anything..I am poking fun and haven't a clue if the self important toad was just being the silly goose..

David Gregory has made himself the news before...remember the time there was a joint press conference with a visiting French leader (Chirac?) and Gregory made a point of asking him a question in French (to call attention to President Bush's not knowing that language).

no i dont remember that but i can believe it! :)

Don't know why you pinged me other that to rabble rouse. You must be one that likes the smell of napalm in the morning.
I see you've sided with O'Reilly on this, he does it for ratings, don't know what your excuse is. Even Juan Williams had enough sense to realize that Gregory only diminished his reputation by his asinine behavior.
Don't ping me again for this kind of silly banter.

I see you've sided with O'Reilly on thisJust to set you straight........ I did not "side with O'Reilly".
I saw the segment last night, and only reported that Bill was willing to blame Gregory's unusual behavior on exhaustion and sleeplessness.
Got it?

NBC's bigwigs are defending him, so he's not going anywhere anytime soon.
