"...displays of Islams violent intolerance have been coming thick and fast the last few decades, and can be found on every page of history going back to the 7th century, when Islam began its expansion with the blood of several hundred decapitated Jews."

"One original thinker after another insists that there can be no honest criticism of the Dubai deal. They tell us that every critic, no matter how measured, is a protectionist bigot; and that every argument, no matter how rational, is a calumny against Arabs and Muslims." more here: http://www.observer.com/20060306/20060306_Joe_Conason_opinions_conason.asp
" In the last few days, several free market and other conservative commentators -- along with various U.S. governmental spokesmen -- have taken to labeling those of us with reservations concerning the Dubai Ports World (DPW) deal as nativist, racist or Islamophobic." read more here: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Commentary/com-3_1_06_TB.html
It's late in the game people! Where do you think this is all headed? I for one think the days of appeasement are over. Prepare.
you could have at least spelled BAGHDAD correctly in your keywords.......
Much better now ;)
I think you left out some H's :)
I think they have a pill for that now.
Many is the time I have spelled "believe" as "beleieve." I figure I can catch both sides of the "i before e" thingy.
So why take any chances on where the H goes?
LOL
what about They're, Their and There????
LOL
LOL
Islamophobia? No, just good old-fashion Islamoloathia.
Avoid alcohol and sex...read the Koran 3x a day....
He thought this was a Hillary thread, and he meant to type BADHAG.
So I'm "islamophobic" if I have a profound mistrust of some whiny @sshole with a rag on his head?
So what's your point?
Just like the old saw, "It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you," it's not islamophobia if they really are out to get us!
Your Doctor just diagnosed you as normal. So what's the problem?
Great article BTW.
It is just politics. Nothing real in all that name calling.
If you think the port deal is wrong, you have every right to say so as loud as you want to. You would have to be insane not to be leery of Arab Muslims right now.
What the President's supporters are telling you is they were leery, too and they took percautions to ensure nothing bad would happen. Given what we have seen and know of Islam, you are just fine to disagree and should disagree if that is the way you see it.
I don't know what to think about it but it feels risky to me and at the same time, I can understand how they are trying to befriend the UAE government who is helping with nabbing terrorists. Ann Coulter suggested we thank the UAE with a fruit basket rather than our ports. LOL
All that buttlifting and screeching begimnning at 5 AM: preying 5 times daily, and a consequent lack of sleep, produces mass insanity..
You really think the days of appeasement are over? Perhaps you should see how the "international community" is talking about giving Kosovo to the jihadists all while getting on their knees and enjoying their first taste of Dhimmitude.
A phobia indicates fear. I do not have a fear of Islam. I have contempt and hatred.
interesting article, thank you. I was having a conversation with an intellectual earlier today, he was in denial as to the percentages of muslims in countries not thought of a "muslim" countries like the philipines and India. He insisted that India was a hindu country and I had to remind him that the official religion and the percentile of the population were not necessarily the same thing. I told him the near east was going to end up being muslim in sheeps clothing just like the EU and I grieved that our Charlemagne had probably already been aborted. It sounds harsh but life is ...
