Hannity at it again(live thread 3/01/06)
3/1/06

Posted on 03/01/2006 12:14:27 PM PST by Dane

Didn't see any live thread started to day for Hannity's show.

Hannity's "points" today. He agrees with Corzine's lawsuit, that got shot down today and also pushing the Israel angle, while he is silent that a official arm of the UK Govt. the Church of England synod, has also called for a boycott of Israel.

Huh, I ain't part of the Church of England synod(official UK religion) that voted to call for a boycott of Israel.

Please, this new Britain-bashing angle of yours is probably even beneath you. Nobody is falling for it, so why persist?

Since the election won by Hamas, Sweden sent a lot of money to the PA. I guess that means no Swede's either.

Many of the products that we buy in the U.S. are made in China. China does not recognize the Independence of Taiwan. Taiwan is an ally to the US, like Israel, and many would want to defend Taiwan from China if it is attacked yet people like Hannity buy goods from stores like Target and Walmart that are made in China. So why is he willing to do business with China and not with the UAE because of an issue of recognition?

I'll take it one further; who is safer in regards to our national security, a China we do business with or a China we isolate?

I don't trust Hannity's judgement one bit. He thinks Kerik would be more suited to homeland security than Chertoff.

Consider Kerik's personal activities, and the fact that he is being accused of having organized crime ties with regard to a little condo deal in NJ.

I started listening when he came to wabc, NYC, I think in 1997 or 98. He was great when he was hungry for greater success. I quickly tired of him, though.

I won't bash him - he is still a good conservative. I reserve my bashing for the $#@^& dems and their treasonous anti American behavior in the face of a serious threat to America's safety and security. They need to stop playing politics with America's security - the jerks.

I'm just pointing out the truth that the synod of the official state religion of the UK is anti-Israel.

Thank you. There will be NOTHING decided for 43 days or so...Let's hear the folks we trust who get the classified briefings and if they still see security holes that I have not, fine. We'll find another buyer. But why discuss something which is ON HOLD ,

I don't think Soupy got fired, either. He's a Detroit icon, having started out there before moving to NY.

That's not fair...I have been reading your comparisons between UAE, Germany, and Sweden. Please don't tell me that you actually believe these three countries can be equated.

Mostly we've become bored with Sean because we are better informed. See the information on FR and then hear him regurgitate the same stories hours later.

Rush too uses the internet for his information, but he has great humor, insight, and the ability to speak to a liberal long enough to teach the person a good lesson in the value of being conservative.

I doubt Sean actually listens to any caller long enough to have a serious conversation.

We'll find another buyer...

Not exactly.. Their contracts and operating licenses will be banned in the US, at the most.. There is little chance DPI would not buy P&O just because of these Port Container Terminal and Stevedore licenses.. it is a massive deal and the US/Canada portion is just a drop in the bucket..

What will happen is that these contracts and operational licenses won't be extended and they will be put up for bid to other companies or someone on capital hill will propose another government agency to operate these container facilities..

I listened to Medved the other day talking to a caller about the illegal immigration problem...

The caller wanted all of the millions of illegals that are currently living in the USA deported...back to Mexico.

Medved told him that if we did that...it would really crash our economy...and NOT because of lettuce pickers...but, because, like it or not, they have bought homes, rent apartments, have businesses, and work in all kinds of jobs..

IF they were all rounded up....think of the mortgages, rent, and other type of credit that would NOT be paid for, the businesses that would immediately go out of business...and the local businesses that would lose the customers...

Pretty much a domino effect...

NOW..living in Texas...I am very ticked about the illegals using our hospitals and schools for free...and other negatives...like uninsured illegals driving and getting in car accidents...etc...

HOWEVER..after listening the the analytical way that Medved put it (no histrionics)...it made me think more, rather that react emotionally.
