I don't know who the guy is, except for folks on other threads who've mentioned him, or stories like this. I've never even watched "American Idol", except if the last few seconds of it are on the beginning of the DVR when we want to watch "House", or "Bones" or whatever show it is that we record that comes on right after it.

I just think that if they guy wants to keep his private life PRIVATE, he ought to be able to do just that.

Why would an eight year old even know about something like homosexuality?

Well, I didn't know about it at eight, however... we live in the Seattle area. From time to time, we see people of that persuasion. Although my (very black and white, fairly innocent, Catholic school attending) daughter does not understand the finer details of what homosexuals (or heterosexuals for that matter)do with each other, she does understand that some people are like that (and it is not the way God intended us to be.)

How could anyone watch the "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" video and not be convinced he's gay?

I dunno, the video for I Want Your Sex could be construed as a cover.  The video for Faith was a clincher.  I mean, no one goes around wearing blue blue jeans in a black and white video.

I am not saying the finalists can't sing. I'm saying that the sole purpose of the show is to deliver a hopeful to the marketing gurus who, in turn, make him/her "accessible."

Of course Clay Aiken the superstar is different than Clay Aiken the contestant. The lawsuit is, therefore, a joke. Why did they buy his CDs? Did they even like his songs in the first place?

Clay is a christian man who will not shun gay people or anyone. He will not support gay rights. That is why they hate him. They are out to destroy his career. He has spoken out against Hollywood and the rot that is there and now is having lies against him reported. He is not gay and has a girlfriend who he is seen out with. That doesn't get reported.
