There not going to jeopardize their countries standard of living over some kooky Islamic scheme
I agree. It is a kooky scheme. Just saying in the long ago past, this is how they began their Muslim Crusade.

Hogwash ! Mark and Sean have looked at the facts and made their decision with that knowledge. Folks like Tony have also looked at the facts & came to a different decision. Those decisions are ALL valid. I respect their decisions! Then they've been snookered by the likes of Schumer, Clinton, and the left-winged media, whom they've all come to an agreement with.
I've looked at the same facts, and have concluded the media has been misreporting this whole port deal from the word "go".

Sean has no way of knowing what precautions have been put in place. For him to be saying that there aren't adequate precautions is disingenuous to say the least.
That is an interesting point.. Sean keeps saying that we need to know the details of security arrangements and the 'deal' (such as the airbase).. yet if the NYT leaked information of the security arrangements or a base deal, he would be complaining about a security leak... I would prefer to know that any under the table security or base arrangements are kept quiet..

My point is they have done their HW. If you do not agree with them that's ok.

Sean is different. He is appalling to several audience demos in coordination with his national program.
Aruba. Their coins are square. Another reason to avoid the story.
I think we are all Rush wannabes.

LOL! Vannity just said if the UAE were a good ally, they would understand that there are 3 equal co-branches of govt.
Hey Sean, it was DPWorld that voluntarily asked for a 45 day extention to placate the congressional thumbsuckers you placate to.

LOL! It's getting pretty heated around here, isn't it! We seem to be eating our own lately. Well, I'm glad that there will be a review period. Maybe when that happens "most of us" will be able to respect each others views again.

We have been using thier ports and bases since Gulf War I - possibly before. The UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain have been since then.
I do have to chastise Sean for acting like he had this big "revelation" about the importance of the Strait of Hormuz
And I am a big fan -- I can be a fan and disagree on some issues

For the Democrats it certainly is not about national security, but about attacking the president. And for Democrats it is far more about attacking the president than about unions.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. There should be stuff done behind close doors that only the committee hears as to what the UAE is doing for us and our future stragetic relationship. Of course I guess we better pray those on the committee can keep their mouth shut

hiya alice...yup, the Sean trashers are here. Apparently, they're having a full-throated tantrum because Sean disagrees on the Port issue. The attacks have been pretty vicious, mean and childlike.
I don't understand why it's such a big problem to require a thorough vetting process of this situation, particularly when it involves a now "ally" who was previously not an ally and, it can be argued, that was actually hostile towards us, particularly in light of their UN voting record and recognition of the Taliban just 4 years ago.

Vannity feel for it and jumped on this fabricated BS too quickly. Then, once the facts started coming out, instead of being a man and admitting that he had erred, he dug his heals in and continues to try and prop himself up.
The thing that galls me is that he continues to propagate an outright lie in doing it.
To: FOXFANVOX
Hi ya Fox! Missed hearing from you this morning!! You'll see a kinder, gentler PTD tomorrow morning! ;>)
Some of the folks who come on this thread only to bash Sean can be quite annoying! I usually choose to ignore them, but today some were unusually obnoxious! Couldn't let holdonnow and sofaman have all the fun! LOL
