Agence France-Presse -
Saddam ends hunger strike: lawyer
Deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein ended his hunger strike a week ago after foregoing food for 11 days, his lead lawyer Khalil al-Dulaimi told AFP Monday.
"I met with my client for seven hours on Sunday. At our request he had earlier ended the hunger strike he had been on for 11 days and he has lost four to five kilos," Dulaimi said.
"He is doing okay."

To: HAL9000
I don't think Saddam is used to hunger and could not hack the
hunger strike.
To: HAL9000

Well, it is temporary weakness, no doubt. He should be supported and encouraged to continue in a manly fashion - please, do not give him any food.
