DUBAI (Reuters) - Saudi-born Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda group claimed responsibility for Friday's attack on a major Saudi oil facility at Abqaiq, the group said in an Internet statement.
The statement, posted by the al Qaeda Group in the Peninsula on a Web site often used by militant groups, said two of its members carried out the suicide operation but gave no details.
The authenticity of the statement could not be verified.
Bingo!
I hope my sarcasm was not too subtle for some of the more reactive members of our FR team.

You saw this also. This is not a good precedent, as we all can quite clearly see.

"But the REAL question is, if a nale martyrer gets 72 virgins, wht do the WOMEN martyrers get???????
The women martyrers get 72 virginers, which are different than virgins."
After getting nailed by a Daisy Cutter, Osama made his way to the pearly gates. There, he is greeted by George Washington.
"How dare you attack the nation I helped conceive!" yells Mr. Washington, slapping Osama in the face.
Patrick Henry comes up from behind: "You wanted to end the Americans' liberty, so they gave you death!" Henry punches Osama on the nose.
James Madison comes up next, and says, "This is why I allowed the Federal government to provide for the common defense!" He drops a large weight on Osama's knee.
Osama is subject to similar beatings from John Randolph of Roanoke, James Monroe and 65 other 18th-century American revolutionaries. As he writhes on the ground, Thomas Jefferson picks him up to hurl him back toward the gate where he is to be judged.
As Osama awaits his journey to his final very hot destination, he screams, "This is not what I was promised!"
An angel replies: "I told you there would be 72 Virginians waiting for you. What did you think I said?"
LOL!
Especially laughed at Mr. Washington slapping Osama in the face.
The jihadist enemy has just attempted destroy the Abqaiq oil facility, the largest in the world, preparing approximately two-thirds of Saudi Arabia's oil output for exportation to overseas customers including American based oil companies.
The Abqaiq facility processes between five and seven million barrels of oil every day, removing hydrogen sulphide from crude oil, making it safe to ship. Saudi Arabia provides, on a daily basis, about 11 per cent of the oil consumed around the world.

(This is a small preview of future oil price trending.)
As with the first "failed" World Trade Center attack in toppling the Twin Towers in 1993, the Mohammedan enemy will continue making attempts to destroy the world largest crude oil facility hoping to ignite a global finacial market meltdown.
The Arabian Abqaiq oil facility will not be the enemy's only "oil" target, nor will Arabia be the only nation targeted for economic terrorism.

The Wahhabist oil barons are being attacked by their own well tutored pupils. After the Russian supported Iranian nuclear weapons threat is removed the giant Wahhabist terror training center, called Saudi Arabia needs a régime alteration.
The Saudi régime continues bankrolling Hamas which has sworn to butcher all Israelis. The so-called "House of Saud" is long overdue for reciprocity for all their exported evil.

Conspiracy: Saudis set this up to make it look like they are victims to help out with the port deal. But then again Al Qaeda could be desperate.
Apparently the Saudi check was late this month. Other creditors send overdue notices, Al Qaeda sends suiciders.
The totalitarian monarchies of the middle east are nice to America only because they are afraid of being overthrown. Which is why the port thing is more about the unknown future of the middle east, not how good they are behaving today.
I don't know anything about the other one...
meant to include you in the post just above..
If they are really lucky they can go to hell and have some REAL fun!
In terms of oil prices current price levels could look real cheap in retrospect, say in about 3 to 5 months if this situation in the oil rich Persian Gulf region continues escalating. Right now no less then three major OPEC exporters Iraq, Iran & Saudi Arabia) are currently having, or will have major domestic problems, all of which would adversely effect energy supply flow to overseas customers.
I don't know what it's going to take to place America on a war footing, similar to World War Two, in terms of enacting national programs for energy self sufficiency. Being held hostage to the Islamic OPEC enemy has gone on far too long.
Given how long the Saudis have been funding wahabis and terrorists, it sure must be a bitch, now that some of the birds are starting to come home to roost...
Mark
I have been looking for that!
