Dubai Ports World is scheduled to take over operations at 22 U.S. ports, not six as previously reported by most major media.
According to the website of P&O Ports, the port-operations subsidiary of the London-based Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co. (P&O), DPW will pick up stevedore services at 12 East Coast

Yeah... a newbie too. ;)
Calm, rational debate with accurate knowlege is hard to come by these days. Don't you know there is a nuke in your pop machine?
Ezekiel is full of the phrase "You will know my name is the Lord . . ."
God seems to like taking the very weakest person or thing available and sending them up against incalculable odds.
Over and over in the Bible He tries to remind us that all we need is Him.
We are the first country that was founded 'under God'. While it might be true that we are adopted Sons and Daughters, I think its no mistake that we serve Israel.
We'll continue to do this until its time for the world to know that you don't need the protection of the United States when you have the protection of the Most High God.
While I don't think God will hammer us for being inherently evil, because I don't think we have been evil, I do think it wouldn't be His style for Israel to be up against the rest of the World, and for the Jews to be saved by the Yanks.
God has His plan, Thank God, and I'm just awaiting His instructions.
What city in ruins would make the merchants of the world tear out their hair as they saw their investments and markets go up in smoke..
To take it all out in just one hour...would be one heck of a feat...one hell of an explosion..
What's most likely..volcano?...earthquake?...meteor?...nuke?
Who knows..Chi-Coms?..Rooskies?...N Koreans?..Muzzlems?
I have no doubt the bible is forecasting the truth..but the who, what, where, when, and why are yet to be determined...
On the other hand ,at my age, I would not want to live in NYC regardless...

The media is now spinning it as "taking over" 21 ports, when in fact P&O runs only a very small subset of overall port operations, e.g., stevedoring at the Port of Portland, which also has huge Exxon and other petro operations, and nothing to do with P&O at all. Same thing in Miami.
The media will just keep sensationalizing it with half-facts until the bloggers rein them in with actual facts.
Do we serve Israel? We used to- but recently we've pushed them into a relationship with wolves, and we've helped to carve up the land of Israel and hand it over to her enemies.
Our shields are certainly gone. If you curse Israel- you are cursed, and we have certainly cursed Israel. We've placed Hamas in her heart, and one day, she'll be surrounded by the enemies of God on every side. And we won't be there to save them. They'll be forced to turn to God. That's the whole reason why He's doing this, why God has shaped history like this. And it's our roll to play. We've helped to arm the nations of the world to battle, and now we've pushed Israel to her doom. All this, to save some Israelites. God thinks very highly of that handful.
The P&O handles the passenger ship terminal in NYC. I guess no one will ever take another cruise out of NYC if the baggage handlers are paid by DPW!
/sarc (in case anyone isn't sure)

Amen!!!
OMG, a spokesman for DPW was just on Fox News and his name is MICHAEL MOORE.
OOOOH That really is spooky!
I would guess the number of people that know this is probably less than 2%.
So how many to you need to control to smuggle in a nuke?
I never said they were rational.
God's Judgment is coming!
Yes, I agree, but I've wondered sometimes if it isn't God's plan to push the U.S. out of the way, before the serious trouble strikes near the end, to protect us. I mean, I wonder if He is going to take away our power and prestige not simply to punish and crush us, but to spare us from a big hit.
The twin towers going down took a trillion dollars out of the economy. A couple nuke hits would cripple us, and maybe that's what God wants. If we aren't a threat, maybe we won't attract so much attention?
I don't know- either that, or we're just toast. ha.., RUN!!!!!

Thanks for the link.
There you go, and it's pretty close to water too!
I think the U.S. will remain and come up against Israel with the rest of the world. I believe those who have not decided where they stand, have stayed on fences, they will not notice their hearts beginning to harden and turn against God but this is what is possible.
Who knows what the tribulation will drive people to think, or do. We can't even imagine. We are told that Jerusalem will on everyone's mind, and destroying it may seem like the way to end all of this in one stroke.
The U.S. joining against Israel? Well, let's not think about that. ha The verse that speaks of the army that overtakes Jerusalem being attacked from the east and west, when hearing news from the north makes me think that the west will still have some decency left. Who knows, though, Esther. Things have certainly changed so much so soon. And people seem so emotional and weak, who knows.
It may be that there's nothing to worry about. If that's the case, two things still bother me, however.
First, it seems the administration was caught off guard by the reaction, and that is amazing to me.
Second, and much more troubling to me, is that it is a complicated issue. People here have spent a lot of time and energy attempting to get at the truth. However, soldiers in the field may not have the time or inclination to investigate this, and I think GW going out and saying, "I'll veto any legislative attempt to stop this deal to sell our ports to Arabs" could send a very discouraging message to them.
Although, perhaps the soldiers are getting different information than from the MSM and are also more knowledgeable about the area.
UAE companies have been operating facilities at our ports for at least 16 years now.
You'd think if nobody had complained, and there weren't any problems before or after 9/11, that maybe there weren't any problems and this was not a big deal.
