Good grief. Democrats are so predictable. Here's my next prediction...next issue that comes up another bozo is going to step forward and suggest Bush should be impeached over it. I know, really far out on that limb there. /sarcasm

I am very concerned about the effect that killing the deal will have on our troops. Many people have fought and some have died to win not only the war but the hearts and minds of the Arab people. How will it look if now we turn around and basically say all you Arabs suck. Congressmen and Senators that have voted for, talk up and supported this war now seem to have lost their courage when it is time to face the heart and minds issue here at home. Maybe they think it would be better for Iran to win hearts and minds. Iran seem to me to be very busy trying to do just that.

My question is, when is he not calling for impeachment.

That guy is probably the most vitriolic sour-puss on TV, ever.

I can't get the channel changed fast enough when his mug flashes across my screen.

The knee jerk ill informed reaction by many Conservatives only feed morons like this Cafferty character bogus ammo for a non issue.
By this time next week, there will NOT be any move in Congress to kill this agreement, and most GOP in the Congress will be on board with our President. Already many in the GOP as well as Conservatives in the media have come to understand that this is a non-story. Democrats are looking like knee jerk bigots, and many of them will be changing their tune in the next several days. The UAE will not be OWNING any ports, and will NOT be overseeing the security of any ports. By the way the same UAE company also services our warships in the Middle East....this story has 3 more days left in it.

y'know, If We could just get The Cape Cod Orca and Cafferty to start buying each other drinks, We probably wouldn't have to deal with either one of them for quite a while.

People don't want to impeach the President. They want to recall the President. There is a big difference. Of course, there is no mechanism to recall a President.

Not everything you don't like is a crime. People who bloviate about impeaching the President over policy questions just wind up looking foolish.

As "Bahama Mama", organizer of the FReeps Ahoy cruises, I had a very good question addressed to me on the cruise thread last week.

The poster wanted to know why cruise ships of American registry weren't selected for our voyages.

The answer is simple. There are no cruise ships with American registration plying the seven seas, except for one. That one is the American Hawaii line which cruises the limited Hawaiian waters only.

Most ships are registered out of Panama, Liberia and the Bahamas. The reasons are simple i.e. U.S. government taxes, of course, but primarily U.S. unions who want to represent and control all aspects including docks work and workers plus the ships' personnel (stewards, able seamen and all other non-officer workers).

I'm not going into detail here, but information on this can be found by searching the internet.

I imagine the world's maritime (shipping) fleet reflects the same situation, though I haven't had time to research it yet. In short, there is little to no international shipping/cruise line industry based in the greatest nation on earth because of the iron grip of the dock unions and their stooges like Schmukie, Her Heinous and others.

The longshoremens' union and their willing accomplices in elective office and the MSM are behind most of the hysteria deliberately whipped up regarding the Dubaians operating the ports. The Dubaians are noted for running ports with efficiency, new technology and economy, something which threatens the union (although it creates savings for U.S. consumers).

If anyone thinks I'm incorrect, note the dock workers are already on the street corners around Tampa port, screaming their heads off. The real tip-off will be when they go on strike in all major ports around the country, putting our economy in peril and putting our President in a bind (which is what they want to do, anyway).

I hope no one believes this is primarily a security issue. It's a union issue, one that's being piggybacked by the likes of Her Heinous and Schumer to try to position themselves to the right of the President on security.
