If I never hear another "We're closing in on bin Laden" claim, it will be fine with me. Tell me when we've CAUGHT him, not when we're "close" to catching him. "The one that got away" is never as entertaining a story for the listeners as for the teller.

They're not as frequent as a couple years ago.
Elvis Bin Laden will take a few more years to completely fad into obscurity.

Britain and Italy top targets
And why are Britain and Italy top targets?
Italy because of the olympics
Britain because they are jealous of their civilization?

At the same time, it said, al-Qaeda was showing signs of moving away from destruction towards more "earthly" political aims, meaning talks might be possible with their successors.
NO! There is never going to be a time that we will EVER talk to Al Qaeda. Their only option is to be captured or die. Stupid british wishful thinking.

I'm surprised myself. I would have expected israel to be their top target.
Crazy world we're living.
