What does the Russia First / Putin Fan Club have to say about this? (Probably cheering ...

It never fails and Putin is a prime example. The question is why would "Americans" be supporting a Communist dictator - unless they themselves are Communists?

Bingo! Putin is the modern-day Machiavelli.

He's arming the world to line Russia's pockets and to prepare proxy countries to threaten the U.S. from all sides.

You are right on the money. Putin, as with other Soviet tyrants is utilizing the worst anti-American terrorist proxie states to do Moscow's dirty work.

As we should recall in 1973 Syria was a very close Soviet client state, and further more it was Moscow which assisted the Syrians & Egyptians in their sneak attack against Israel's on the highest Jewish holy day of the year, Yom Kippur.

Fortunately the Israelis beat back the Arab invaders even with Russians flying the Syrian & Egyptian MIG fighter jets, which Israeli pilots shot down by the dozens. Many Israelis lost their lives during the Yom Kippur war due to Moscow's incitement & fully supporting the Arab side.

In the tradition of Stalin, Soviet Russia intended to assist the Arabs in their (failed) attempt in exterminating the Jewish population of the state of Israel. Nothing has changed in 2006, and Iran, a client terrorist state of Moscow has a demented Muslim leader who has sworn publicly to "wipe out Israel" with Putin's arms assistance..

The question has to be asked, are the visible Putin supporters on FR also antiSemitic? After all the Putin promoters are obviously cognizant Putin's Kremlin is arming Israel's most vicious enemies, in terms of Russian weaponry sold to the likes of Iran & Syria, which Anmerica's sworn enemies and a monumental threat to the entire civilized world.

The 1973 Yom Kippur War, a study in Soviet Era Politics

President Nixon was able to reroute American arms shipments via the Atlantic's Portuguese Azorean Islands, and onward to Israel, which turned the tide in favour of Israel over the invading Arab armoured divisions. People tend to forget how close we came to a real East-West conflict.

Putin continues arming the Syrians, as well as the fanatical jihad exporting Iranians. Hugo Chavez, a revolutionary Marxist also as a very close working relationship with KGB Putin dealing in all sorts of Russian weapons, not to mention Moscow's old ally, Cuba's Castro.

Putin was also playing arms games with Saddam before we overthrew the Iraqi tyrant, which Putin was so against. We now know why.

The Russians could make a heck of a lot more money by privatizing their industries and selling more peaceful goods to Western nations.==

I agree. But what to do now? DO you economist?
It happened that westren nation needs ONLY russian resources but russian machinary is aout of competition. But russian military machinary has some market.
I may understand that for you maybe it is better if russian economy will go dead. But not for Putin. He has to ensure that russian products sold for hard currency. And hence russian workers got thier salaries. You probably don't care about russian workers and thier familities. But Putin as russian president has to care.

Again. If you want that Russia won't sell her military products to some customers. Then offer to Russia new market so that russian workers won't suffer from your wish. Then it would be fair.
But noiw you just wnat of Russia to shut down her businesses and nothing give in turn. This is no ay to do business.

I just think it is counterpeoductive just sit and gossip and badmouth Putin or Russia but better to understand what they think.
I just try to show you other side perspectives. Maybe you begin to think. Maybe I'm mistaking and you just do not want to think but just whine about "evil" Russia:).

You ask from Russia a lot but refuse to give something in turn. Give her something in turn if you want something from her. If not then no wonder you wishes won't be met by Russia.
Remember people here know how to count money and not fools.

Unfortunately Putin is more capitalist then majority of Western Europe. SO Tony Blair for example is more communist then Putin.

I have a question for you. Do you live in Russia or America?

In relation to your statements, the majority of Americans and British would not really be concerned about today's Russia if that vast commodity rich nation had a truly democratic leader, not a dictatorial KGB tyrant, arming the biggest Islamic and Communist threats to global economic security.

I realize a few Soviet choppers are not a threat to America, but Putin is also supplying 100,000 AK47's to Venezuela's fat headed communist dictator who is pals with Castro and the rabid anti-American Islamic régime in Tehran.

The real threat stemming from Putin is his continuous arming of the nuclear fanatics in Iran, coupled with terrorist instigating Syria.

Now in russia. Few years ago lived in America.

"Dictatorial KGB tyrant" is just propagandist myth. Putin is authoritarian yes. But to call him dictatorial or even commie is huge deviation from truth.

He just run armatory business. By the way United States run such too. She annually sells the weapons more then Russia. At least 1.5 times.
Russia sells just DEFENSIVE weaponry. No offensive. Who is against defensive weaponry?

If you want Russia no sell to some her customers then give her new markets. Until that russians see your complains as the attempt to undermine thier business.

Putin has put on a "Christian" dress, and yet his business deals are against Christian peoples of this earth. Now he may well make his dollar in the short run but then he forgets who is ultimately in control.

Why to state the obvious make some think that a peoples demise is what is desired?

To be precise. AK-47 is long time out of productions. Russia produces now AK-74M, AK-10X series. AK-47s you may buy today from China or Egypt.

Can you elaborate?

Now he may well make his dollar in the short run but then he forgets who is ultimately in control. ==

Russia happened to be neibors of islamic countries. See map. So Russia should not engage in crusade against islamic world. Because at the end Russia may be left alone against them.
So Russia try to make peace with them. By doing small consessions. Till today this policy works.
Opposite of propaganda neither islamic country with which Russia copperates involved in islamic insurgency against her.

Islamic insurgency in the world is brewed by Saudi Arabia. Those who made terrosim act in USA was from Saudi Arabia mostly. DOn't you forget?
I just don't understand why not American occupation there?
Russians see it as clear as day. United Staes went to Iraq instead of Saudi Arabia. Hence people in russia think that United States has DIFFERENT interests in mind then just struggle with islamic terrorism.

When it suited interests of Russia she helped United States destroy Taliban in Afganistan.
Iraq was secular state. Now the shiite islamists won power there.
Iran is shiite islamist state. They are all fanatics.
What can you do with fanatics? Either kill them all or leave them alone. Time to time cooperate with them if it suit you. It is policy of Russia as far as I understand it.

Nukes ia already in hands of islamic country. Think Pakistan. I saw many insuniations about Russia "provided" nuclier technology to everyone. They told that they bought nukes from russia.
But at the end the huge scandal happened around Pakistan. THIS country really sold nuciler technilogy to islamists and even north koreans.
You see no enemy where should be. Instead just offend Russia by unfair pretensions.

"You see no enemy where should be. Instead just offend Russia by unfair pretensions."

Russia has a history of attempting to take down the US and there have been some elected in the US that are of the same mind. So an enemy can come from within as well as from without and we the US have had plenty of both.

We are told that the Heavenly Father is not a respecter of persons and "IF" we expect to maintain His blessings and protection there is a list of "IFs". Now whether it be from the US or any other nation upon this planet if they stick their finger in the eye of the Heavenly Father the reward has already been set.

You see there is national sin and judgment and individual sin and judgment, and both kinds of sin and judgment has already been foretold.

Russia of today appears to present themselves as sitting atop the heap and reap rewards from any and all without a willingness to accept the responsibility of the results, kinda like old bjclinton reigned for 8 years.

Now had old bjclinton had the security of these United States first and foremost, terrorism would have been stopped and the process of digging out the root system would have already begun.

No Clintonism was about a process of equalization of all nations with the Clintons riding atop the heap. Well Putin appears to use the same method of equalizing nations all the while attempting to ride above the heap.

Time will tell the story of her success and actually which 'god' she serves.
