A community college student in Massachusetts faces possible disciplinary action for shouting "Remember Chappaquiddick!" during an on-campus speech by Democrat Sen. Edward Kennedy.
Paul Trost, 20, a student at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, Mass., says he was upset by an introduction of Kennedy given by Rep. Stephen Lynch, D-Mass., in which the congressman noted how the long- time senator overcame hardship in life on his way to success.
"Lynch said Kennedy had overcome such adversity to get to the place he was, and that's a bunch of bull," Trost said of the introduction, which occurred in the school's student center Tuesday morning....

Sure, Kennedy is seen as somehow sacred because his brothers were killed. Watching his embarassing performance with Alito made me wonder why there would be NO extensive coverage of HIS private life on the night's news shows, as there would have been had a Republican with a similar past called into question such a man's ethics. This Kennedy sold his soul to the devil early in life.
A plane crash didn't kill him.
A car crash didn't kill him.
Drinking didn't kill him.
My champagne is on ice waiting for the day the devil comes for him.
Gee.....could it be that even the devil don't want him?

OMG. And here I thought living 10 miles south of Madistan, WI (The Berkley of the Midwest) was tough!
You must be making really good money to stay there, or have some other pertinent family obligations keeping you there; I can barely stay above sea level living in the surreal "Reality Zone" that surrounds Madistan, LOL!

Kennedy, Gore and Carter are bitter and a danger to democracy.
Someone once told me that bitterness is anger turned inward.
With Kennedy we have a visual.

I'm not making much money but love the work. If not, I'd have been out of here last fall.

Paul Trost sounds like a stand-up guy. I wonder, if opportunity presented its self, would I make a statement that would be a discussion topic on FReeRepublic? Would you?
Guys like this young man give me a good feeling that our republic is going to be just fine.

Trost's father is a conservative.
I really want to reward this kid
with something significant. Any ideas?
How about a marching band or a girl
in a cake during English Lit?
Singing FReeper-gram?

Double Standard. It's like Kennedy is the Pope or something. Somebody needs to give this guy a medal, or a scholarship. The kid admitted he was more of a liberal than a conservative.

Lynch really should have known better than to introduce Kennedy as someone who'd overcome adversity in his life.
Unless he was being deliberately ironic...
