Every night at happy hour, he has a relapse. But he's back in the driver's seat the next day. Or later that night, for that matter ...
If he threw salad dressing they wouldn't have done anything to him!!!
off to bed.
Sweet dreams you two!
Sure, he left Mary Jo to die while he tried to come up with an alibi, but that's hardly the worst mark on Kennedy's slate. He was the prime mover behind cutting off all funds to South Vietnam, ensuring that our former allies couldn't stop the massive invasion from the North in 1975.
Ted Kennedy helped pave the way for the genocide that followed.
Since when does getting away with something constitute overcoming it?
Has Kennedy "overcome" his addiction to liquor too?
The only thing I can see he has overcome is any consequence for his actions.
Thank you Paul Trost. Watch your back son, they'll be gunnin' for you.
His father was a rich gangster who protected the family assets in trusts outside of the country to pay not estate tax.
Sent Ted and others to good schools and they did not have to work, pay their own way for anything and lived in affluence.
And when Ted killed a girl, his wealth helped cover it up and made it go away.
Where was the supposed hardship, not getting enough tail while married to outside sources?
I'm composing a letter to the Enterprise using a montage of comments from this post. Please edit this before I send it. Thanks all.
REMEMBER CHAPPAQUIDDICK
Whether you agree with his view, Paul Trosts dissent without disruption was truthful, dignified and well done. Be honest, if he had shouted "Nazi!" at President Bush, instead of punishment, Im sure youd probably offer him free tuition. Mr. Trost is a stand up guy who also happens to be impressively well informed. If there is a punishment for Mr. Trost, your school does not understand free speech. Where it has become trendy to shout a speaker off the campus stage, Mr. Trost simply made his view known. By the way, Trost is a blog hero.
This kid did what I have wanted to do as long as I learned about The Swimmer's history.
Also, from the article:
"Today is Kennedy's birthday, as he turns 74."
The irony. Had Mary Jo lived, she would be 76. She died at the age of 26.
If the kid needs to go legal on the school, we should raise money for his legal costs.
This is never going away. Poor Teddy.
I just realized how young he was at
the time, and I didn't know Mary Jo was older.
whats his freeper screenname ? :-)
Are you asking if Paul Trost is a FReeper?
If so, I don't believe he is. His Father
might be.
Oh, please.
Killing another person has lasting power. "Poor Teddy" not only has to deal with people never forgetting how he allowed Mary Jo to die, but he will have to answer to God, who will present him (Ted) with his Book Of Life.
40 million fetuses will come tumbling out, along with the corpse of Mary Jo and goodness knows what else.
As a Christian I am duty bound to pray for The Swimmer's everlasting soul. But the idea he will have to face Divine Justice somehow make me feel better.
Exactly! What college was it a month or so ago where Gonzales went to speak? A bunch of youts put black bags on their heads and turned their backs to him. Did they get any discipline?
