Hmmm, as long as they were foreigners, this seems to be a good thing.

I have been wondering when the Iraqi's would start summarily executing the foreign terrorists. Seems a long time overdue.

This is a GOOD thing..
Especially since they didn't kill indiscriminately...
They SELECTED foreign fighters (terrorists) that had come to Iraq to kill... Most of those killed by these assholes, have been Iraqi.
It is "appropriate" for these bastards to die at the hands of Iraqis.....
These are probably the first terrorists "executed" in Iraq..
I hope we see more -- by any means available..
Perhaps this will dampen the enthusiasm of lunatics from going to Iraq to make trouble... That would be the only down side to wholesale slaughter of these jerks -- because Iraq has served beautifully as a shit magnet - attracting wannabe warriors to fulfill their Jihadi dreams...

The only downside to this is that if these were the actual perps, then it's going to be pretty hard to question them and find out who sent them.
As I understand it from another story on this, the perps were a commando team of terrorists disguised with police uniforms, who went in and planted the explosives.
It's not clear from this story whether the perps were lynched or just any old group of foreign terrorists who happened to be in prison.
It might help defuse the pressure toward civil war if the blame can be squarely put where it belongs, on al Qaeda.
