Apologies Canteeners, for hijacking this thread. I live for riding . . .
This was my third bike. I almost bit the Big One on this bike, when a cager pulled out in front of me. I ended up with compound fractures of both bones in my lower right leg, a fractured right ankle, ten days in the hospital and eleven months in plaster casts. I swore I'd never ride again . . .
By 1975, I couldn't stand it anymore; I had to have another ride. I purchased this 1975 Kawi H1F. Fast as the dickens, wiggled like jello when stuffed into a corner. While in the shop for servicing at 6000 miles, it was stolen!

Well, since this thread is all about biking, I don't think you're hijacking it so much as adding to it. You've had a very checkered past with bikes! LOL! You're lucky to be alive to post these pictures!

It's kinda hard to HiJack a Canteen thread, as long as you're either on topic or supporting our troops.
The way I see it, you're doing both.
Thanks much for your input...I'm sure the galz love it!

I've owned one Kawasaki, it was a '74 KX400 motocrosser, it was a great fire road burner ~ it get 'er done!
I test rode the first H1 that arrived in Oakland, CA ~ I agree with you, it handled like crap, once you got it straightened out, it went like hell! :)
