FReeper Canteen ~ Canteen Kids Wednesday ~ All About Motorcylces ~ Come On In ~ 22FEB 2006
LizardLover228 (StarCMC's oldest son)

Posted on 02/21/2006 6:04:21 PM PST by MoJo2001

Hi!  My FReepername is LizardLover228 and I am the son of StarCMC!  First, I want to tell everyone in the military to keep on doing good even when it is tough.  Thank you for fighting for us!

Today I want to talk about riding motorcycles in the woods.  This is one of my hobbies.  I have learned a lot from my dad.

One of my biggest tips is to always stand up in the jumps and in hill bottoms.  This lowers your center of gravity and make the bike more stable.

This is me and my motorcycle, a Honda 2002 80cc 4-stroke.

Here are some links to some cool motorcycle racing sites:

My favorite motorcycle rider is James "Bubba" Stewart.  He is really fast and good.  He rides in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross races.

I hope you have enjoyed my thread today.  If you have any riding tips I would love to hear about them.

What a difference a mere 6 miles makes.

A tad chilly in your area. Do you have snow?

Nope.
Most of it melted.

We still have dirty snow....as if break up were here. All the nice white stuff has melted.

Patches of ice in the fields, some snow where there's shade.
Other than that, it's lots of mud.
And sometimes frozen mud.

We aren't to the mud stage yet. There should be more winter just waiting out there.

Mud is NOT one of my favorite stages.

Not mine either.
I only dealt with the stuff 'cheerfully' if I was getting paid to do so.

Now that's a good attitude. LOL! It just about requires a gallon a week of windshield wiper fluid.

They went overboard with the salt on a light dusting of snow, and then when we got a heavier bit of snow, they were miserly with the salt.
*chuckle*

Yes, very.
The windshield looked like the inside of a Morton salt can.
