Yes, we really know one another. Several of us know one another in person. We attend FR events and work on campaigns together.
News to you, huh?

Maybe you can explain the following since you seem to have a vast knowledge on the subject of port security? Who said I had a vast knowledge of port security? I sure didn't. I will say this though: Few people have a grasp on the simplistic nature of port security.

sasafras: "Bush is showing his true colors - he is against America defending itself from foreign invaders."
Dog: "I don't like this deal as much as anyone....but this comment can't go unanswered."
Dear dog,
Sasafras wants the southern border closed and the illegals deported. This is pretty much the only issue he/she cares about.

Heh...great post! ;-)
I disagreed with both of them, by the way. LOL...

There needs to be real Port Security, and the vaunted, consolidated "Department of Homeland Security" should make it a fast reality. I'd, personally, rather have the government spend the enormous sums spent on the TSA spent on the Ports, along with additional funding for real border security.

Port grab by an Islamic nation? Get a grip.
This is a transfer of a contract between two international corporations. The only difference we'll see is a new name and increased port security which is a GOOD thing.

You host Bible studies too?

Alan Keyes can't win anything, so you're post was a strawman.
I'd rather look like Elizabeth Taylor, but I don't.

Reparations for black Americans is the subject. Clueless you I see.
Reparations for Japanese Americans = Good.
Reparations for BLACK Americans = Bad.
Interesting.

The only hope is that Bush overplayed his hand, imo.

I've been wondering that myself.

And if they were allowed to take control of these ports, our sensitive security measures/methods would certainly have to be shared.Which proves you have no clue.

You host Bible studies too? Not exclusively. Instruction in the Catholic Faith, which includes Scripture study.

There are some less intelligent members of the base who can't understand his strategy, including a large number here on FR. Asking questions makes one a drooling retard... kind of like a college student, eh?

Bush and the machinery deemed that this was a net-positive deal or they wouldn't have ok'd it. Were you in favor of handing our Long Beach Ports over to the Communist Chinese?

It is misleading. He couldn't veto anything on November 4, 2000, the day of the longest election night in history.
