ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (AP) President Bush says the deal allowing an Arab company to take over six major U.S. seaports should go forward and he will veto any bill that would stop it.
I will, probably won't call him until the weekend though. He's on base mostly during the week.
Please so let me know what he says
I need to go lay down again .. my headache is back again
No, I take you as evil, mostly.
ROTFLMAO!
Blaming Alan, well, that's new.
You and I worked for him LONGER and harder than EV did; because we all remember how LONG into the summer it was before Keyes gave up and threw his support to Bush (if he ever did that).
When was that again, somewhere right before the 2000 convetion, if I'm not mistaken.
It is irrelevant for national security. The coast guard, CIA, customs, and homeland security are responsible for that. For example, American airlines was not responsible for stopping 9-11. Neither are the port dispatching companies.
"the president(Bush) did recommend strengthening the new Proliferation Security Initiative, which is a positive development. But seizing a cargo here and there is not going to be enough to stop proliferation. We must see to it that smugglers are deprived of their legal havens. That means getting more countries to adopt and enforce adequate export controls. In neither Dubai, Pakistan nor Malaysia is there any legal restriction on selling centrifuge parts to Libya or Iran. That is also true of many other potential manufacturing sites in the world. Unless we do something to remove the possibility of using such sites as smugglers' havens, we will continue to face the danger of nuclear black markets."
Dubai is exempt from regulations controlling selling or shipping nukes. And these are the folks who will run our ports. gotta love the logic
Right. I guess that's why you trolled hundreds of threads about him in the last half dozen years.
The day I let O'Reilly do my thinking for me...
Well, I don't want to think about it! LOL.
Is it coincidence that a true conservative hasn't had a sniff of a chance to win state wide election in California since Prop 187 was voted in only to be over turned by the Grayout Davis and the courts?
Not related. Arnold won and he ran as a conservative. It's the social conservative angle that kills conservatives in California not immigration. If immigration was so unpopular with the general public then prop 187 would have never passed.
Poppycock, Arnold was only a fisical conservative, he is a moderate to moderate left on social issues. His celebrity was a s big a factor as anything to get him elected. Care to guess how many more Latinos are in California since Prop 187 was voted in TWELVE years ago? THey are very wary of anything conservative.
Why, EV, I really don't care about what is a political loser for Republicans, I care about what is important for the nation.
And I trust the President, and Condi Rice, and Donald Rumsfeld. I know you don't. You've always made that patently obvious.
Evil? Wow, you've got us right up there with the Muslims just because we disagree with your poltically?
Thank God none of the many "candidates" you've worked for have ever won anything.
Actually, it was at the 2000 convention when Dr. Keyes and his approximately one million conservative Republican supporters joined up with George W. Bush.
Think he could have spared any of them?
Apparently, you are hanging on his every word. Pity.
How do you think the UAE have the money to buy this stuff ? It is you and I buying foreign goods (in this case oil) and having nothing that the other guy wants to buy except for capital assets. It is we the people selling our assets, not the govt.
You're just too intellectually lazy to go use a search engine.
I may be in denial, but this just seems like the only explanation that could possibly be the cause, even if it is rather stupid.
I'm dying to know, honestly.
From what I can tell here in Chicago, the USPS is a conglomerate of inadequacy.
Tweny Million Illegals working here and you can say that with a straight face, man you got brass, I will give you that.
