Christians in Nigeria are being slaughtered in their churches by foaming Muslims enraged by the dreaded cartoons. Being the minority Christians first tried to appease but were still brutalized. Nigerians are crying out that ABSOLUTELY NO media coverage is being given to this. Is another Muslim on Christian genocide (ie Rwanada) happening while the MSM twiddles their thumbs?
NO no no. You must be mistaken. Islam is a "Religion of Peace", President Bush said so. Besides, I haven't heard a word about this on CNN.

You guys talk a big game but you seem to be lacking in the follow through department. Back during the Spanish Civil war in the 1930s, socialists actually put together volunteer companies that went to Spain and fought for their beliefs.
If the evangelicals of this country really care about the plight of Sudanese Christians then they need to get off their butts and do something about it. People on this site are always bragging about their prowess with firearms. Well heres a chance to prove it.
My respect for American Evangelicals would rise about a mile if you folks actually fought for the things you say you believe. I mean that sincerely.
First, I am not an evangelical; neither am I a Christian. I simply believe history has shown that Islam is a scourge on any society it infects. Interesting you mention Sudan (this conversation is about Nigeria). I agree that Nigerians should arm themselves but I doubt your comments are anything but snark.
Yes but the lefties don't gather in African churches, African Christians do, so Muslims slaughter them, they're handy.
I pray you will remain strong in Jesus Christ to the end and I thank you for your prayers, encouragements, and sharings of truth.

At Least 15 Die in Nigeria Cartoon Protest
10 Killed in Religious Clashes in Northern Nigeria [teacher allegedly confiscates Koran]
Dear Friends in Christ,
Greetings from India. I am an Orthodox Indian Catholic Of Portuguese Descent from the Portuguese Colony of Goa on the South-West Coast of India. My Ancestors were evangelized to Catholicism in the 16th Century by Saint Francis Xavier and his Compatriots.
With regard to this thread, this is what I have to say.
I am not sure how many of y'all are aware of the plight of Indian Catholics in different parts of India. We are literally persecuted for Christ.
But,In India we are persecuted by Radicals of two Religious Groups.
1. Indian Catholics are mostly persecuted by Hindu Radicals in most parts of India, but in some Coastal Districts in the two Southern Indian States of Tamil Nadu and Kerala Christians and Catholics are persecuted by Hindu Radicals as well as by Moslem Radicals who are found in large numbers there.
Moslem radicals persecute Indian Christians in the State of Jammu and Kashmir exclusively as we are a negligible proportion of the population in that state and also because it is the only Moslem Majority State in India.
2. Most of y'all may be aware that a number of Catholic Churches and Convents were attacked in pakistan over the week- end when protests over the cartoons got ugly. The same is true in Bangladesh which is a Moslem majority State and a country where Islamic Radicals are gaining the upper hand for the past year.
To .30Carbine -- I see that you are a fan of Pastor Ravi Zacharias.
I am a good friend of Freeper Salvation, Freeper NYer, and Freeper Bearwash to mention a few who I know.
In the near future, i may start a thread called "Persecuted for Christ in India" or "Persecuted for Christ in South Asia".
SOLDIEROFJESUSCHRIST
What would you like to see happen?
Thank you for including me in your post. Indeed, I listen to and pray for the ministry of Ravi Zacharias.
It is very nice to meet you, SOLDIER!
I have been in prayer for the persecuted Church in India and will appreciate being pinged to any threads on this subject to help direct my prayers. Your comments here are helpful in that regard, and I thank you.
You said that right
For the longest time now I've had the haunting feeling that in about 75 - 100 years from now there will be editorials, not in newspapers but probably then in secret underground websites, demanding to know why we people who lived at the turn of the century did not stop it while we still had a chance.
Good points. Talking about this doesn't fit with the media's agenda.
You can say "let them fight back." Jesus taught otherwise. Personal feelings, yours included, do not supercede the Law of God Almighty... regardless of how strongly one holds them.
You refer to scriptural writings in your reply to me. Read more, and more closely. Focus on the New Testament. Pray sincerely for God's Holy Spirit to guide you as you do so. It'll all be clear as day. Jesus couldn't make it any simpler.

But, but, but -- it's the Religion of Peace. I heard the President tell us so. Many times. It must be true . . . .
Prayers for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Nigeria and the world over.
Time to gather the Mercs. together "Onward Christian Soldier".
As luck would have it, American Christians... indeed, Christians all over the world... seek not your approval, but God's.
You have an unjustifiably high opinion of yourself, pup.

I hope Mohammedan Koraniac lunatic Death Cultists change their behavior so that they must not be blotted from the earth, and prayerfully I would hope that they turn from their wicked hearts and to the Lord God Almighty.
However, if they continue, they will surely bring death to their people that has never before been remotely imagined.
All as Satan himself gets off in a cave somewhere with OBL.
I'm not begging for another Crusade, I'm 'matter of factly' stating that the face of Mohammedanism will change or tens of millions of Mohammedan adherents will die.
