Sampson was Old Testament history. The New Covenant of Salvation through faith in the Blood of the risen Christ demands that the old law (of the Pentatuch {Old Testament}) has passed away, and that, through Jesus Christ, God has made a new covenant with his people (all Christians).

You can say "let them fight back." Jesus taught otherwise. Personal feelings, yours included, do not supercede the Law of God Almighty... regardless of how strongly one holds them.

You refer to scriptural writings in your reply to me. Read more, and more closely. Focus on the New Testament. Pray sincerely for God's Holy Spirit to guide you as you do so. It'll all be clear as day. Jesus couldn't make it any simpler.

You can say "let them fight back." Jesus taught otherwise.

Jesus encouraged his followers to arm themselves..

When arrested on Gethsemane, the Apostles were armed..
One of them cut off a soldier's ear with his sword..

The only reason Jesus went with the soldiers was it was part of His plan..
He had already stated that it would happen and named Judas as the one who would betray Him..
If Jesus had decided that He would not be arrested, and that He would escape, or fight, it would not have gone against His teachings..
Not one bit..
