I expect great things from this guy soon. He's willing to make the difficult choices- sort of, and do what needs to be done- but it depends. And besides- isn't his dad the smartest woman in Washington? Oh, sorry, that's Gore.

He's just as confusing as his father.

Why get in to politics? His family has made 100's of millions with their Carter Center and whatnot. Why work?
Wait a minute, I thought about the questions above and I think I answered my own question. Nevermind....

Like father, like son. He, too, is a tower of jello, just like his old man. Geez.

Actually, this is my wacky MIL's view, too. Many years ago when she was going to have her tubes tied, she had to get her husband's permission. Apparently, she still feels insulted by that and thus, her support of a woman's "choice." For some reason, she can't seem to fathom that a human life hangs in the balance. Like I said, wacky.

I don't know if I would call it a "schizophrenic stand".
There are many conservatives I know who believe abortion in the case of rape or incest is okay. It is either a person or it isn't. The brain and heart start shortly after month 1, making all normal abortions killing "brain alive" person. In self defense, perhaps, but otherwise???

Well, no confusion there.
I'd vote for him but common sense doesn't allow it.

Hint to politicos: We the people have figured this out.
Someone who says "I wouldn't personally do it but support the law that says it's up to you whether you do it.." is Pro Choice.
So, campaign as Pro Choice. You are fooling no one.
