Cheney's Secret World Behind The Shooting Furor (anthrax exposure)

NEW YORK, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- A few weeks after 9/11, Newsweek has learned, Vice President Dick Cheney worried that he and his family and his staff might have been exposed in an anthrax attack. According to knowledgeable former officials, a mysterious letter turned up at the vice president's mansion. (A former senior law-enforcement official recalled that sensors went off.) The alarm turned out to be false. Still, to be safe, Cheney and his entourage began taking Cipro, the powerful antibiotic. The story was hushed up.

It was those visits from the space aliens, I tell you.

That was hushed up, too.

ping. I have heard there were actually several more real anthrax letters that have not been disclosed, although this one sounds like a fake letter.

Not so hushed up ... I do remember reading of the VP and his family being on CIPRO. Not a fun anti-biotic due to side-effects.

last week's hunting accident once again drew attention to the unusual nature of Cheney's power.

Dick Cheney as a boy, demonstrating "unusual powers"

This shows how pathetic they are. They had no story with the ranch story so that had to go back 4 1/2 years.

Newsweak writers are a bunch losers.

The Limbaugh Letter has more subscribers than Newsweak.

Readers will eat up this story, but it is pretty nothing, and certainly not damaging in the least. The Vice President is shown as what he is, a devoted, honorable public servant.

Maybe Cheney's staff should have told the Corpus Cristi Caller instead of the AP.

Washington Post Story

On the night of the Sept. 11 attacks, the White House Medical Office dispensed Cipro to staff accompanying Vice President Dick Cheney as he was secreted off to the safety of Camp David, and told them it was "a precaution," according to one person directly involved.

Now hypothetically, let's say that the mysterious letter actually contained anthrax, that the VP and his family had been exposed to it, and Cheney ended up dying because he didn't get on Cipro fast enough.

Can you IMAGINE the shrieking orgy of delight that would have been taking place over at DU, MoveOn/Moron, the Daily K(P)OS, and the rest of those losers?
