Hannity cannot go to Iraq, he's too busy protecting the Mexican border.
And it may very well be. We just don't know enough yet. What I think is interesting, and should be a lesson to the Arab countries, is how reactive the American public is to any involvement by any of them with this country. They are pretty universally disliked and mistrusted as this reaction shows.
It was explained, that because this was a sale between two companies....that Congress did not feel that these companies should have to be grilled and investigated, etc, in order to do business...
I heard that the reason Congress made this decision was to help our trade with foreign countries...and that if we made these types of transactions into a hugh deal..it would stifle trade...
BUT, this was done long before 9/11....and so this business deal in particular has made people sit up and take notice.
However, for Schumer and Clinton to get on their high-horses and act like the Bush Administration did a "secret" back room deal...and doesn't care about port security is bogus....because it was CONGRESS that set up this system...and Bush was just playing by THEIR rules..
Well good thing Bush got rid of him. May be he is feeling the need to be on media again. SomeOne mentioned that McCellan is better than Ari - instead of argueing with the press stonewalling them without saying anything is better. The wall always stands while whoever tries to hit will have their heads smacked.
LOL!
Still need to do the demo....
I have to call today to set up a time to go make a demo....
thanks Dave.
I sent Brit an email on tuesday complaining about Novaks monday appearance. I missed the followup you mention. What specifically did Brit say about the comments on Novak?
And what just drives me up a tree is the media's so-called "right to spill national secrets so the American public can see what their evil President is doing to them" under the freedom of press argument. No one has the right to publish TOP SECRET information without the Government's declassification and approval. I would venture a guess that amongst thinking Americans the MSM has sunk to its lowest credibility in its history. Lets see a poll on who believes the MSM!!
According to my tv menu, it will be repeated tonight at 9:00 pm, Central time on MSNBC. I especially want to see the round table.
LOL! Somehow I new that.......
He really should(go to Iraq)it would do a lot for his credibility.
Ah-so. Well my thinking was not too far off. Thanks for the additional info!
LLS
I just love Rummy pressers - he hands them their head with such class! Wish we could see more of him. I wish he would do a weekly briefing and explain all the "GOOD" things that happened in WOT during the past week.
LOL - I know. I am perusing posts and googling trying to find something to substantiate that myself. Got any info on the panel?
What I found interesting today..on all of th shows...was when Sec. Chertoff was asked about the Dubai deal, he was VERY closed mouthed and reinterated over and over how it was classified..and he couldn't talk about it...
To me, it seemed more "hush-hush" than the darn NSA program---I guess because the NYTimes had outed it...but still, I was sort of surprised how vehement Chertoff was in NOT discussing that subject on any of the shows.
Brit didn't mention Novak by name but he said that he got many upset viewers' letters next day and Novak was the only person saying horrible things about Cheney incident & WH.
An automatic assurance of being called back for more of the same by the Fifth Column MSM
