Michael Chertoff testimony being replayed on CSPAN now.
No not serious, I should have put a smiley face after that, but I see now why you may think Dick Mannequin Gregory would say that.
;-)
Sorry to alarm you. But they are nuts, arent they?
Katrina Van den Hoofinmouth on Stephy's show sticks with the standard DNC talking point -- the "secrecy on this story is emblematic about the overall secrecy on every issue". George WIll takes her to task. Cokie Roberts goes with the Maura LIaison line about how theh late night comics made this a story, not the press rage. We all know that had Cheney released a statement about this on Saturday night, the WHite house press corps would have screamed they were trying to cover up the story by releasing it on a saturday night. Vanden Hoofinmouth is really insane.
Jay Leno joked that Cheney's number rose drastically when it was found he had shot a lawyer.
Other thing is, press knows well that Hillary CANNOT be stopped getting dem.primary. They conducted a secret poll among themselves. Result is, 2008 presidency is republican's race to lose. That 's why the anger.
I think its more for the drivers:
Bus crash on icy Okla. interstate kills 2
How on earth does one get a frigging commercial driver's license without knowing how to speak English???!!
****
LOL
The spanish on the card does speak volumes...
There is no reason for this bilingual transition....at least no GOOD reason....
I have heard that we are arrogant over the bilingual issue- because after all- many other countries have many bilingual signage etc to accomodate English speaking tourists, visitors, business people....
LOL! I tell them - EXACTLY! You just made my point! You have the bilingual signs to aid TOURISTS AND BUSINESS PEOPLE! PEOPLE PUMPING MONEY INTO YOUR SYSTEM! NOT ILLEGALS SENDING MONEY OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM WHILE SPONGING OFF THE TAX PAYERS!
JUST A TAD DIFFERENT DON't YA THINK! They accomodate English speaking people because we are there LEGALLY and it is GOOD FOR THEIR ECONOMY! Not because we are invading them ILLEGALLY!
YARG!
(chewing the table now....)
Sandy Berger?
LOL! I found that HYSTERICAL TOO!
They 're not that smart.
David Gregory shows more emotion than Maureen Dowd.
sad story....oy!
I hear you, but Mr. Simpson deserves the credit for sure.
And also for this gem this morning (your new tagline ;-) )
***
Alan Simpson on the shooting:
If this would have happened to anyone else in the country, it would have been like a sparrows belch in a typhoon.
If Cedar Dave would hurry up on acheiving the other 2 of the 4, I could change my tag line.....
Yes. There is no one in politics like him now. Zell Miller is close but is a little more angry........ which, to me, is a good thing at times.
Anyone for a duel???
;-)
oooops! I didn't ping Cedar Dave to that comment..LOL!
Whew! Maybe I can avoid a THWAP....
Yeah, David does show more emotion........but it is anger and disgust during his White House press breifings......that's nothing that enhances him in my eyes. ;)
