I could be wrong, but I think Armstrong did some campaiging for Kerry. I know that Kerry wore his yellow Armstrong bracelet on the campaign trial all the time.

Ha
Kinda reminds me of my first wife.
She said: "its either me or that damn Harley"
I didn't miss her at all.
I sure did enjoy the hell out of my HOG.

Armstrong is no right-wing extremist. He describes himself as "middle to Left" (see more from the article below). This is just another indication of how "liberalism" has been overtaken and overwhelmed by hard left extremism, and the inability of leftists to tolerate even mild and moderate disassociation from their phony, facile, feckless moral posturings, seething hatreds, and insane conspiracy rants.
In an interview with the London Times, Armstrong described Crow's politics as "way out Left" and said that it was hard to meet Bush and not like him.
But Armstrong's politics aren't exactly conservative. He said that his politics are "middle to Left." He is "against mixing up State and Church, not keen on guns [and] pro-women's right to choose."
In January 2006, the Ritz-Carlton hired Crow to perform at the opening of its 60th hotel, located on Grand Cayman. Along with her songs she let loose with some scorn for the president.
Crow told the N.Y. Daily News that, like his father, Bush has sought to turn America into "an imperial power and create strongholds over oil-heavy countries in order for us to control and manipulate them."

The real news here, is not that Cheryl Crow has such an abiding dislike for George W. Bush, but that Lance Armstrong indulged in a fancy of showing support for the President.
That is both remarkable and newsworthy.

If I was a millionaire celebrity, I would dump my wife too if she didn't tow my line. I could always buy a new girlfriend or wife (with a prenump, of course..).

Lance Armstrong breaking up with Cheryl Crow, because of BUSH!This didn't have to end in breakup. He could have just asked her to get a Brazilian wax.
I thought I'd string the straight line along with with yours so someone else would pick up on the joke.

It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life
is the book everyone should read. Truly inspiring and the Crow is hardly mentioned at all, but he continuously praises his ex.
Someone needs to make a movie of this. Are you listening Clint? I think you could redeem yourself and do a great job with this...especially since the euthanazia film sucked so bad.

he'd go off and fight if the president asked him to," the friend said. So what, my wife hates Bush and I did, in fact, go off to fight because the president asked me to. As long as we don't talk about Bush everything is good in our household. I wouldn't trade her for a Conservative Monical Belucci.

I was looking at a magazine yesterday...Sheryl Crow on the cover, and thinking how skinny she was, and that she'd latched onto Lance simply to revive her career. And I suddenly knew they'd broken up because he supported the President. I just knew it -- an undeniable gut feeling. I get these feelings once in a while. (Usually it's more along the lines of, oh, no I forgot to turn off the oven!)
