Will They Go to Court? (191 comments )
READ MORE: Dick Cheney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Scooter Libby, Valerie Plame

So, I suppose the question is...what kind of civil trial will we see, or not see, between Cheney and Whittington? Whittington is certainly no stranger to a court room and to civil litigation. Will Cheney pay him off, preemptively? Will they go to court? I would imagine if a guy with a few beers in him shoots you in the face on a hunting trip, how could you turn down that opportunity?

What would Cheney do about the whole secrecy thing then? I mean, this is the guy that sicced Enron on Gray Davis and the state of California to embarrass Davis, trigger the recall and then watched Arnold Schwarzenegger become governor of California. (To this day, perhaps, still the low point in American political life.) Then Cheney covered it up.

Cheney's the guy who told Libby to out Valerie Plame. The rumor I heard is that someone yelled, "Look out! Shooter!" and Cheney thought he said Scooter and fired in that general direction.

Cheney is a terrorist. He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately. Who ever thought Harry Whittington would be the answer to America's prayers. Finally, someone who might get that lying, thieving Cheney into a courtroom to answer some direct questions.

Washi: 'Baldwin is a pampered, feminine, gluttonous, publicity whore.'

If he thought it was fashionable to agree with President Bush, he would do so.

Alec Baldwin, the greatest actor in the history of the world, leader of the Film Actors Guild, and pawn of the ronery Kim Jong Il.

Baldwin has switched from Kool-aide swigging to chugging jello-shooters.

In other words, his deep seeded hatred has driven him completely insane.

I used to do fairly serious amateur acting. Of course it doesn't require deep thought, sometimes deep thought gets in the way. That's why writers and directors (talk about herding cats, directors earn their money) are paid to think. Actors are paid to PLAY MAKE-BELIEVE.

One reason I ignore political pronouncements by actors, they specialize in fantasy, why would anyone go to them for advice on the real world?!

***Also, another good reason to ignore actors is they must hawk the leftist activist line to keep being employed, seen/heard on TV and quoted by the MSM for PR notices. Alec is a PETA front guy. Sometimes there is a harsh backlash for irresponsible "dissent." I heard that Ed Asner now can only get a gig in Canada and that persona non grata Belafonte is selling his U.S. properties because he is fleeing to Paris...or is it Cuba?

P.S. I've tripped over those amateur boards too. We've got insight.

Cheney did say that they did have "a beer" [each] at lunch, iirc.

I went to Baldwin's site during the limbo of the 2000 election, because of his statements. He pulled his message
board due to the number of negative complaints. The explanation was that it was to "discuss movies, not politics".

He didn't learn from that experience. He should have stuck to film.

"...why would anyone go to them for advice on the real world?!"

Agreed. I had lunch with a bunch of fellow Ford retirees yesterday. One of the guys piped up and opined what a great movie "Syriana" with George Looney is, up to that point I though the guy had discriminating intelligence. My latest issue of National Review came in the mail today. The cover story is about Looney. I'm about to go sit down and read it. I'm sure its fair and balanced.

I was shocked to see Tim Robbins in (yeach) War of the Worlds. I imagine he might be just about that crazy in real life.

Recently saw World of the Worlds again on DVD (it didn't get any better).

Now I understand word has it Tom/Katie are kaput. Poor Katie. No brains..................

By the way, according to Kim Basinger, Alec Baldwin is the one who terrorizes.

Therefore: Baldwin is a terrorist.
