Libyans protesting the Prophet Muhammad cartoons set fire to the Italian consulate in Benghazi on Friday in a riot that killed at least 10 people, an Italian diplomat said.
Libyan security officials said 11 people were killed or wounded during the six-hour riot when police firing bullets and tear gas tried to contain more than 1,000 demonstrators hurling rocks and bottles. The casualties included police officers, but the officials declined to say how many people had died.
Italian diplomat Domenico Bellantone said between 10 and 11 people had died, and all were Libyan _ either police or protesters. He spoke after the Libyan interior minister had briefed the Italian ambassador to Tripoli on the riot.
There should be a day in which all "business" with the jihadis is brought to a swift and thorough conclusion..
We must bear in mind that the Muslims (the Danish Imams) themselves created this uproar for a purpose. That is why Italian Northern League Minister Calderoli made a mistake to wear the Cartoon T-shirt.
The Muslims wanted to create discord and they succeeded.
Normally, that is to all other religions, comity and civility is called for. It should be natural, non legislated. Generally it IS a good thing.
To answer the Muslims properly, (instead of playing their game) Calderoli should have worn a T-shirt thanking the Good Lord above for being a Judeo-Christian.
Instead, he inflamed an already bad situation... and like it or not the Arabs can blackmail Italy. If you're ready for war and the consequences of gas and oil being cut off, then sure, go for it...
But if you really want to get revenge on the Muslims, pull that famous cross out of the jug of urine and give it a shine.
This is not being a Dhimmie... not when you consider that the Danish Imams themselves (undoubtedly advised by the Muslim Brotherhood) created the Danish Cartoon case.
It's easy to get all riled up to defend free speech. But what's really being defended is the right to attack all religions. I am well aware that Islam is not a religion but a form of Arab Imperialism, but neverthless it falls under the category "religion."
Better in this "maneuvered" case to be more subtle and instead of defending the right to be sacriligious, defending the sacred.
It's the sweetest form of revenge because it's not even vengeful.
Again... bear in mind that the uproar and all the bickering about freedom of speech WAS PLANNED.

Our cartoonists would do well to make their peace with Moses and Jesus.

A friend of mine was in college in Mississippi on 9-11. As he and his fellow students watched the TV screens in horror at the Twin Towers burning, three students (who appeared to be muslims) stood up and began to clap and cheer. They were immediately set upon by several large football players, who beat the living shit out of them. Nobody protested. A girl called for security to haul their rightly beaten asses out of the student center.
It's amazing the unmitigated gall and arrogance these mooslimb f**kers have.
