Another great post.
I hope that someone recorded that ballad Cheney sang at the end of the Brit Hume segment yesterday. I laughed so hard I spotted.
Cheney is not the problem. The radical left-wing media is. There will be a backlash over these Cheney attacks if they keep it up and they will.
Dan Henninger's is the best weekly column going.
I agree about the backlash coming.
The Chappiquiddic thing is being FORCED back with this. What fools. (Of course they are: If they weren't fools, they would never be liberals!)
Why the vice president of the U.S. should suddenly worry about not being believed is beyond me, especially given his routine and very bold use of distorted information and outright falsehoods about national security threats.
I can think of only one rational answer to Cheney's question: something else happened and the current story is a cover-up.
Or maybe it is not weird at all for Cheney to reasonably think that the press wouldn't believe anything he said.
If Cheney said that the sky was blue, the press would argue with him until night time, then scream about Cheney being a liar.
Perhaps Cheney thinks there are conspiracy-minded lunatics out there who wouldn't believe him if he said the sun rises in the east. "What did he do with the sun? How deep does this cover-up go?"
I'm with you that it shouldn't end now. I hope the 'rats and presstitutes pound on this thing even harder and longer. I really do (but for different reasons)...
This is a joke right?
The press WILL NOT accept the word of V.P. Cheney that he has regular bowel movements, let alone anything else. They have an agenda to discredit this administration at any cost and they are sticking to it.
Being that you've been on this board as long as you have, you should have ample examples pointed out to you over the years to prove the truth in this.
I'm going to assume you're joking on this one....it's too obvious to be believed.
That was from the Jimmy Kimmel show, it was hilarious!
I always look forward to Henninger on Fridays.
Examples, please. Plural, as you said "outright falsehoods." Unless you're going to use the tired old line of, "No weapons of mass destruction were found!" They were there, every knowledgeable Western intelligence agency in the world knew it and reported it, and afterward the weapons were moved because Saddam had literally MONTHS of advance notice. So don't use "no WMD found!" as an example because it isn't outright and it isn't a falsehood. Simply cite here examples of Cheney's "outright falsehoods about national security threats."
FreeRepublic's oldest and most battle-hardened troll is back!!!
Someone threw out rotted meat to draw you out of hiding, I see. Before you reply that Cheney is the rotted meat, I shall save you the typing. Please come up with some sort of facts to back up your innuendo. I know it isn't familiar terrority for you, but please. Otherwise, you'll lose the respect you've gained around here...lol
What damn business is it of anyones on what happenend on a private outing amongst friends? Why do you liberals have to have your noses up everyones asses? Get a job life or whatever it is you losers do.
