Another great post.
I hope that someone recorded that ballad Cheney sang at the end of the Brit Hume segment yesterday. I laughed so hard I spotted.
Cheney is not the problem. The radical left-wing media is. There will be a backlash over these Cheney attacks if they keep it up and they will.
Why the vice president of the U.S. should suddenly worry about not being believed is beyond me, especially given his routine and very bold use of distorted information and outright falsehoods about national security threats.
I can think of only one rational answer to Cheney's question: something else happened and the current story is a cover-up.
I always look forward to Henninger on Fridays.
Taranto had a wonderful analogy, comparing Democrats to Wiley Cayote who would buy a new gadget (outrage about something) from ACME each week, absolutely guaranteed to catch the Roadrunner (Bush). Each of these gadgets would fail, the Roadrunner always escaping, and Wiley Cayote winding up as a puff of dust at the bottom of a cliff. Beep! Beep!
The Abu Ghraib photos? A 10 forever. Dick Cheney catching a hunting buddy with some birdshot? An instant 10. The Bush National Guard story? Total 10
Someday, my prince will come
