The neighbors interviewed said they feared retaliation if they were to make a report to law enforcement officials. We CANNOT go there! If stuff like this goes UNreported, retaliation is the least of our worries.

The report also says it found that a number of the residents of the compound work for the New York State Thruway, as tollbooth operators in the New York City area or are employed at a nearby center that processes credit card transactions and maintains vital confidential financial records.
Hancock, NY is pretty far from the NYS Thruway - at least 75 miles away. On the other hand, Delaware County (where Hancock is located) isn't exactly a boomtown.

The worst thing that could ever happen in this country is out of control vigilantism.
Our founding fathers were smart when they wrote in the 2nd amendment in and it does comforts me to know that Americans wont hesitate to exercise that right to save our country if necessary despite having limp wristed Democrats trying to sell the store.

Gilani, who refers to himself as "the sixth Sultan Ul Faqr," has stated his objective is to "purify" Islam through violence.
Someone needs to tell the "the sick --- --- ----" that his objective is worthy, but it won't be of his doing.

Probe finds terrorists in U.S. 'training for war' The president would never allow this. He's a Republican, after all.

"...The report says Jamaat ul-Fuqra members have 'purchased isolated rural properties in North America to live as a community, practice their faith, and insulate themselves from Western culture. The group has established rural encampments that U.S. authorities allege are linked to murder, bombings and other felonies throughout North America..." "...The group seeks to counter 'excessive Western influence on Islam' through any means necessary, publicly embracing the ideology that violence is a significant part of its quest to purify Islam. The enemies of Islam, the group says, are all non-Muslims and any Muslim who does not follow the tenets of fundamentalist Islam as detailed in the Quran."
Over again, it's stated that the intent is to oppose "Western culture" and to generalize here, North America. And they chose to purchase and proliferate in North America and the U.S. specifically, home to "Western Culture" mostly. That says to me VERY CLEARLY that they have opted to aggress upon an area and a culture that they consider is in opposition to their beliefs, and that they support "any means possible" to accomplish their goals, including violence against those they oppose, who they think oppose them as per the "Quran."
That identifies them loudly and clearly as a group formulated upon terrorist principles and intent. If they wanted to just live "isolated" from "Wester culture," they could opt to move to Tibet or wherever. It's clear that their purpose and plan is one of harm upon Americans, from this article.
Worse, members employed in transportation, financial industry with access to privileged information...and A COMPOUND ADJACENT TO THE WATER SUPPLY OF N.Y.C., my gosh...the Buena Vista, CO location is also a concern to my view, given the ever expanding population in CO of illegal aliens and the trafficking between CO and Mexico...
To state the obvious...

and on that note... I say a snippet of FNC today. something about laser "attacks" on aircraft landing and taking off in Detroit... report indicated that the lasings all came from one neighborhood in Dearborn Heights... iirc, that area is now a bastion of Islam in this country...
makes me wonder... might not be a silly juvenile prank after all.
