ATLANTA25 US Representativesincluding two members of the Georgia delegationhave now signed on as co-sponsors of H. Res 635, demanding a probe which could recommend Bushs impeachment, including the initial sponsor, US Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), Atlanta Progressive News has learned.
If the Democratic Party is able to retake the US House of Representatives, Rep. Conyers would become Chairman Conyers of the House Judiciary Committee, whereas he is currently minority leader on the Committee.
If not acted on this session, the bill would have to be reintroduced next session. It is possible that a new bill could include new language regarding NSA domestic wiretapping.
Sources in Washington DC tell Atlanta Progressive News that H. Res 635 is a venue for coalition among members of Congress who are willing to consider impeachment for a variety of reasons.
Even though H. Res 635 does not specifically reference the NSA domestic wiretapping issue, some Members of US Congress have found the wiretapping issue to be a compelling reason to sign on as a co-sponsor, sources say.
26 US Representatives now total want Bush either to face an impeachment probe or to resign. US Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) is the representative who has called for Bushs resignation, according to a World Cant Wait statement issued to Atlanta Progressive News.
Two (2) Members of US Congress signed on yesterday, February 14, 2006, including US Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI) and US Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), according to thomas.loc.gov. Since APNs last story on H. Res 635, US Rep. Mike Honda (D-CA), also signed on, having done so on February 8, 2006. Press representatives for Reps. Moore, Velazquez, and Honda were not immediately available for comment.

Isn't there more constructive work that needs to be done on the hill....I guess not!
You bring up one reason for the underlying hate of President Bush. Because a demonstrably criminal psychopath clinton was impeached, the twisted liberal mind demands this GOP President receive the same treatment. Such is what passes for logic in the twisted liberal mind.
The usual suspects who are too stupid to find their way out of a paper bag!
There is a nut who each day stands at a busy intersection a few miles from my home in Western Washington holding an Impeach Bush sign. This part of the King County tilts red so I'm sure he has his share of drivers laughing at his misery.
It's amazingly entertaining watching these incompetent communists, as long as they are far from being in charge.
They want to impeach GWB, and I want to 75% of the Dems hanged for treason. I'd take that bargain.
LOL. That's right. Even in Madison, they got convicted, didn't they?

Here's the story...Supreme Solar Allah
Friends, I swear to you that is his real name
He had been out playing tricks and slashing tires
That's how he's come to fame
Here's the story...of his mom named Gwen Moore
She had raised him to hate the GOP
She will soon leave to go serve in Congress
Maxine she'll love to see
As we watch this story playing out with interest
We all know just where this thing is gonna go
Supreme Solar Allah was arrested
He's a victim as a black man, don't you know
You ought to know...you ought to know
He's arrested because he's black, you know
Thank goodness for Howard Dean, Al Gore, the Shrieking Witch, Lurch and the rest of the leftie pukes. Makes our job much easier.
At least a lame attempt at it.
And I would like these 26 "Representatives" to resign.
I am sure he has a macro on his office hard drive, where he just fills in the "charges" and updates who is going to sign on "this year."
He should be horsewhipped.
Make a deal with the Dems, we get to hang 75% of you for treason, then take a vote on impeaching W.
That's even better.
Looks like one of the Minnesota Moonbats has signed on.
