For some reason, the interview did not go to David Gregory. How awfully unfair.

Brit Hume was with ABC for many years. He's the most fair and thoughtful journalist out there. That said, obviously Cheney was tweaking the other networks, and I love it.

Kind of hard to argue with that point.

Remember the days when CNN was the Clinton New Network? It is funny to see the entitlement attitude that CNN has.....

But some Democrats and competing broadcasters charged that Cheney chose to speak only with Fox News because of a perception that the cable channel is sympathetic to the Republican administration. They called for the vice president to hold a news conference with the rest of the media.

And they run to CNN... or CBS.... or ABC.... or NBC....

The one opportunity I had to give that vile old windbag Senator Lautenberg a piece of my mind, he was a fellow guest at a friend's wedding. I had to hold my tongue.

Lol, like Cheney was going to call Larry King up and beg to be on his show.

In a related story, an industry association of coliseum lions complained that Christians haven't been adopting them as pets.

LOL....of course FoxNews where else. Fox, especially Brit, does not spin the news. He'll point out a story being spun and give us the real deal on it.

Cheney ain't no dummy, he knew he'd get the proper coverage from Fox, and especially BRIT HUME. ;o)

Thank You, Brit.

This story is astonishingly similar to the Boston Globe's story a few posts down. When it comes to Vast Conspiracies, the Left-Wing media division operates as a seamless single entity.

Let's see - choose a respectful dignified journalist to give an interview with, or the group that called your bosses press secretary a jerk during a briefing.

Hummm - what would a sane person do?

Cheney doing the interview with CNN would make about as much sense as Tommy Franks scheduling Al Jazzera as part of his book tour.

Damn! Can't we pin SOMETHING on this guy? Everyone hates him anyway. Maybe we should just ask if he was on speed and crack and had prostitutes with him who were illegal aliens from Iraq? /sarc

The "Perky One" was still whining in Torino this AM.

Claimed the story had to "leak out"

"Now that he feels forced to talk, he wants to restrict the discussion to a friendly news outlet, guaranteeing no hard questions from the press corps," Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., said in a statement.

LMAO. David Gregory & Dana Milbank disqualified the "press corps". Go whine to Soros.

On CNN, commentator Jack Cafferty called the interview "a little bit like Bonnie interviewing Clyde. ... I mean, running over there to the Fox network -- talk about seeking a safe haven."

Unlike those hard-hitting interviews with JImmy Carter and Bill CLinton on CNN, eh, you moron?

In other news, the mainstream media is reluctantly reporting that V.P. Dick Cheney did, in fact, give an exclusive live interview yesterday to MSNBC. Asked why this is only being reported now, a sheepish spokesperson would only say, "Well, we didn't know about it. No one actually saw it. Not even the cameraperson."

The media getting their panties in a bunch over Fox getting the interview is hilarious....and very satisfying. Maybe if they would act professional at press briefings and not ask ridiculous questions maybe people would trust them to conduct a 'fair and balanced' interview.
