It's always a good idea to thank the Giver of all that we receive. Your kids have the right attitude.

Little Miss Solitare has been a terror today.
Tried to take Jackies Breakfast and dinner away from her.
Don't know what's gotten into her.

What vittles are available to you over there? (Skip the MREs...though they can come in handy.)
You ever get to the local markets?

My very favorite cookie.
These make me happy to make and happy to eat.
Cowboy Cookies.
1/2 c of margarine
1/2 c of peanut butter
1 c granulated sugar
1 c firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cup of quick cooking oats
6 oz of chocolate morsels
1/2 cups of chopped pecans.
Oven 350. combine flour, baking soda and powder, and salt.
Cream margarine, peanut butter and sugar. Combine flour with creamed mixture.
Add oats, flour and chocolate. Will be very stiff and need to be stirred with a spoon.
Roll into 1 inch balls and flatten with a fork.
Bake 7-9 minutes....Pull out when only lightly browned...
These are so good you will be transported to the magical age of 7.
