NEW YORK (Billboard) - Willie Nelson chose Valentine's Day to release the gay-themed song "Cowboys Are Secretly, Frequently (Fond of Each Other)." The country music icon premiered the track Tuesday morning (February 14) on Howard Stern's Sirius Satellite Radio show as it was being made exclusively available via
Nelson recorded the song, written in 1981 by songwriter Ned Sublette, last year at his home studio in Perdernales, Texas, around the time he first mentioned it during an appearance on Stern's former terrestrial radio show. The timing of the song's release coincides with a time when the idea of gay cowboys is being discussed throughout the media in response to the success of the Academy Award-nominated film "Brokeback Mountain."

Is Nelson a fag too?
There's gotta be a lot of guys swooning in Frisco tonight.
Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be HIV-Positive Gay Cowboys (Wrestling in Pudding)
Sure he is. Remember that hit song "On the Roadie Again."
Nelson pines for the RATS when it comes to politics, so it is natural for his music to fashion the limp-wristed, purse-swinging, bed-wetting style of his political heros.
Western films are man-land, not girly-man land. I refuse to accept or tolerate any of this crap. Perhaps I'll soften up a bit when we have an official 'Firearm owner appreciation week', but until then, NO.
See there! I told you smoking pot would make you "funny"!
ROFLMAO!!!!
Not to mention his chart topper with his ex-boyfriend Julio Iglesias, "To All the Earls I've Loved Before."

My comment was directed to Willy, not to Peyton.
The light got too bright for Willie and he ran back into the darkness.
Pancho & Lefty (The Reach Around Song)
He also has a new TV show coming out, titled "Queer Guy for the Brown Eye."
Yeah. I didn't see my favorite Brokeback alternate title:
Lord of the Little Brown Rings.
I can't believe Willy slipped out that he was gay before he moved on. Highway man? Hershey Highway. He soils.
tsk tsk
