A Day in the Life of President Bush - (photos) - 2.14.06

Today President Bush welcomed the 2005 NCAA National Champion University of Texas Longhorns football team to the South Lawn at the White House, where he congratulated the team and coaches with great humor and warmth.........and a lot of Texas pride! Later in the day, he welcomed members of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation in the Oval Office of the White House. The council, created by the USA Freedom Corps in 2003, promotes volunteerism and recognizes Americans who serve our communities and the world.

First Lady, Laura Bush visited the Giant Pandas at the National Zoo.

Today the news was released that Mr. Harry Whittington, who was accidentally hit with birdshot in a hunting accident with Vice President Cheney, had had a very mild, asymptomatic heart attack. He is being carefully watched and being treated conservatively, and is expected to fully recover. We need to keep Mr Whittington and Vice President Cheney in our prayers. The media are in a feeding frenzy, and are completely out of control.

Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island............ some wonderful photos today on the Daily Dose!! And a Happy Valentines Day to you all!!

That's great. And so true. The media has never bothered to present the facts, just their opinions.

Thanks, Snugs :) This story is surreal, isn't it? Now the MSM is hoping that Whittington dies.

I'm hoping to hear some clips with Gregory's rant at McClellan. So far I've only read what he said, most interesting when he doesn't like being accused to being dramatic for the camera.

He isn't the only one who ought to be yanked out of the press corp.

Oh here we go...Anderson Cooper on CNN is going to tell us all "why the news was kept from you and me".

Mr. Prairie likes to tune into CNN sometimes at night to keep his eye on what they are saying. I hate it because it pumps my blood pressure up right before bed, heh!

Yes it was funny but it was also sad to attack someone who wished to keep something out of the public domain for the sake of all concerned. This was a private hunt on private property, the 2 parties in involved have been in constant contact and the relevant authorities advised and spoken to in a prompt and orderly fashion.

When and if it was personally advised to the President again is irrelevant he was advised through whatever channels within a reasonable timescale. The Vice President was more concerned in making sure legalities was followed and visiting his friend rather than personally making phone calls.
