If the authorities can't stop the trafficking of drugs, the solution in their minds it to arrest those who posess things that "look" like drugs.
This is like suspending kids for drawing a picture of a gun in school and then arresting them for posession of a gun, or drawing a picture of a plane flying into a building and suspending them for having terrorist ideas.
Symbolism over substance.
The incompetence of the authorities to stop real crime.
Arrest people for the appearance of crime.
Another example of gross institutionalized child abuse.
The problem is that our society has given up on being responsible. No longer do they weigh each problem that comes to them and make decisions. They prepare cause and effect lists and point to them when anyone asks "what should we do". That way, nobody can blame them. Cowards. Our society is rolling over and peeing on itself.
"BY JUSTINA WANG: In another breaking news item, the Aurora Chief of Police was arrested by Federal DEA agents for possession and distribution of mass quantities of drug delivery vehicles heavily coated with a look-alike drug."
"Although his attorney claims that the evidence was planted, Federal authorities say they have forensic evidence that clearly connects the Aurora Chief of Police to the alleged crime."
It's for The Children.
I've often said there is no level of stupidity that won't be defended by the Drug Warriors. This thread proves it.
I would think the police in Aurora would have more serious matters on their mind then powder sugar. Aurora is full of thousands of illegal aliens and crime up the wazoo! Instead of dealing with the gangs in Aurora they arrest a 12 year old for possession of powder sugar.
Look alike drug? Sugar is a food, not a drug. It's illegal to bring food to school? These people are nuts.
Mark
For the churlin.
Have the police gone completely insane.
Surely they can not be as stupid as this article indicates.
File this with the rest of the WOD lunacy.
Totally stupid beyond belief and to think that kids spend all day with these idiots.
The American legal system at work. He should have raped an infant or attempted to blow up a bridge.
Unreal.
I popped half a dozen pellets into a friend's butt who I found out had been making out with my girlfriend in my High School's parking lot.
The principal walked up to me, took my pellet gun (hand gun), took me to the dean's office, had him whack my butt with a paddle once for every pellet in the other guy's butt, and told me that while he understood why I was mad, I could never shoot anyone's butt full of pellets on school grounds ever again.
Today, I'd get the death penalty.
I think we should ping Matt and Trey. This would be a great episode.
in other words, without a jury nor the public eye, authorities can f@(k him and the parents in their own authority privacy, brainwashing him and removing adequate representations.
this is a witch hunt against a good student with good parents. He should have known he's only there for their job, not for studying. He's a trouba maker for the mandated government aristocracy, and they're gona f@(k em.
So when do we start Waco-style attacks on grocery stores? And I wonder if they're allowed to use sugar or flour in home economics?
Sounds like a district where Dr. T would be happy doesn't it!
