And what was with the music of the eighties during the march? I laughed so hard when Norway marched in to "YMCA".
Highlights include a goal scored by the US during a 3-5 PP (US had the 3, etc)

I kept trying to explain to my children that the Italians are extremely cultured, sophisticated, elegant people with an artistic tradition going back more than two millenia. And the kids were rolling on the floor at the evidence before them. This was horrendous.
THanks for the ping.
Hedrick crushed everyone today.
Incredible performance.
Laura and Barbara Bush in the audience.
Cheers.

MENS LUGE
Tony Benshoof who crashed in Salt Lake is sitting smugg in 3rd place afer 2 of 4 runs.
He currently holds the Guinness record for fastest recorded time on a sled.....86.6 MPH.
In the off season he works in the lumbar dept. for Home Depot!
The USA women's hockey team looked really good today!
Thanks for the ping!
High Five to the Women's Hockey team!
CBC showed the Women's Moguls live. The American took 15th but a Canadian took the Gold.
I am pulling for these countries....
USA!!
Denmark
Australia (sister lives there)
Great Britain
Poland (we're Polish)
Slovakia (belong to a Slovakian Church)
So if the USA has no one in, we have someone to cheer for. Does anyone else do this?
Right now we have two tvs running. CBC is showing the Women's Hockey that CNBC is showing and the French language station is showing Pairs Figure skating.
Next up--Germany!!
