That poor guy. I watched that when it realy happend and they have showing him going off that ski jump every since, especially when they still ran the wide world of sports.

So if the USA has no one in, we have someone to cheer for. Does anyone else do this? Yep! When the US is not playing, I cheer for Poland, Italy, Lithuania, Britain, Australia, and Denmark. There's a couple more I know I am forgetting.

Not me. No snow today -- just miserable rain.

Canada is my "backup America" during the Olympics; if there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that the U.S. will medal in an event I root for the Canadian team. I think many Americans do this, which is why there was a big stink over the SLC pairs competition. S&P were the "backup Americans."

You may want to check with the moderators first about starting another Olympic related thread...we just got our women's hockey thread closed and re-directed back to here. Just a heads up.

USA women's hockey team shut out the Swiss 6-0. I was amazed at the number of Americans in the stands.
To: Conservababe
I was desperately wishing that the crowd or the athletes would break into a rousing dance to go with YMCA!
