WILLIAMSBURG, February 10, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) A pro-life student at William and Mary college in Williamsburg, Virginia was punched in the face and thrown to the ground while she was handing out literature at a demonstration. The victim, a junior, was not seriously hurt but was shaken according to a fellow student and campus pro-life group member.
The student, who is not being named by the college, was attacked by a woman who became upset at the pro-life message of the demonstration. University spokesman Bill Walker said police are looking for a white female with wavy brown hair who is around 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall.
Most pro-lifers who have attended pickets or public demonstrations can attest that it is commonly women who are most upset by the message. One of the central tenets of feminism is that childbearing and motherhood is a kind of indentured servitude, an opinion that casts those who fight abortion in the same light as advocates of slavery.
College age students often find their pro-life worked violently attacked. In 2003, student pro-life information displays at the University of British Columbia were attacked and destroyed by students with the tacit approval of University authorities.
Despite what is usually alleged by abortion advocates, violence in the abortion debate is overwhelmingly against pro-lifers. Human Life International has kept a running tally of violent acts against pro-life activists that runs in the hundreds of instances every year.

I used to attend pro-life rallies in college days, 15 years ago. The other side was enraged and violent. We had to have video recorders and sometimes they didn't catch everything. The feminazis would start physically attacking someone, and then if a pro-lifer put his hands up to stop the attack, they would call the cops to swoop down on the pro-lifer and accuse him of attacking first. And the nightly news would of course talk about the violence of the pro-life side.
We just figured it was par for the course and learned to expect it.
Check out article and post #80.
They murder well over 1 million infants a year, you would think that that would be enough to quench their thirst for blood.
Probably because most of them have had an abortion or 3 and because of their guilty feelings strike out at anyone who reminds them of their guilt and shame.
Just MHO, but I do know 2 women who this applies to. They become enraged at any prolife statements....to quote the Bard..."Methinks the lady doth protest too much".

And my hubby asked when was the last time that happened while babies are still murdered everyday and anti-lifers become more violent. I hope "Bugaboo" reads the link I posted. It talks about the back alley myth.
Answers to Butch.
Irony - an article about an irrationally angry pro-abortion lady is attacked by an irrational angry pro-abortion troll.
The whole notion that women died because of "back alley" abortions was almost entirely about advances in antibiotics, it had nothing to do with abortions.

I posted this thread last week about the fact that illegal abortions are still being performed, in Massachusetts of all places!

>>>The murders of the abortionists and their lackeys was deplorable, but that doesn't begin to compare to the 47 MILLION infants who have been slaughtered.>>>
Of course it compares!! You can't justify murder for murder!
The bombers and murderers of the abortionists have generally been caught, convicted and imprisoned -- justice has prevailed. Millions of children have been murdered without consequence.
THERE IS NO COMPARISON!
And they lied about the numbers just pulling them out of thin air. The article I posted has a lot of info and it's great for rebuttals too. I was shocked when I first read it.
A few years ago, I went to a pro-life rally where you stand silently just holding signs. I'm sorry that I can't remember the name of the rally. We lined the road. There was a restaurant behind us and a young woman and her boyfriend came out of the restaurant, She saw us and started to scream. Her rant was laced with profanities and she "bragged" that she'd had 3 abortions and wasn't sorry and that she'd do it again. They pulled out of the drive to our left and drove by us. She continued to yell obscenities and lean out the car window making obscene gestures. Her boyfriend kept trying to stop her. She was beside herself with rage. We stood quietly and never addressed her or looked at her directly. I hope she got help.
There'd been a troll in here ranting about how we're going to overturn Roe vs Wade.
And when reminded that even if RvW was overturned that it would just go back to the states, teh troll snarled that RvW would never be 'banned'.
(So why were they here?)
So we had some commentary about the nutter trolls.
Sorry about that.
Guilt is probably the most powerful emotion that any of us ever have to deal with, and usually we will do anything to keep from having to feel it. However, until we feel the guilt, and ask the Lord for forgiveness, we can never be free.
I want to know when someone gets arrested.
A troll got Zotted early on in the thread if that counts.
Where's the ALCU to come to her aid?
When John Kerry was running for president, a woman went to the rally holding a sign saying: "Abortion Hurt Me." She thought it might make Kerry become more pro-life.
John Kerry's aide ripped it up, right on the spot.
Pro-aborts are bullies and terrorists.
