I want to post a picture from my pictures in a reply. I would also like to post pics to my profile. As it just so happens, though, I don't know how. Can someone please talk me through it? Thanks.

I wanted to post pictures from "my pictures" also... but didn't know how.. my BF told me you can only post pictures from a website and there are many steps involved in doing that. It's not that difficult. There are free and paid webhosting sites. It's VERY easy to download a pic from your machine to a site. I'm a grandma. If I can learn to do it, so can you.

it has a width of 150 pixelsJust so raynearhood isn't the only one asking dumb questions tonight :-), is that how you control the size of the picture that is posted? I've seen pictures on here that took up two whole screens and everybody starts yelling at the guy/gal "make your pictures smaller!" I've never posted a picture 'cause I didn't want anyone yelling at me!

I use photobucket and it works fine.
Just remember if you are on dial up it will take time to upload your pictures so be patient and only do one at a time.

I've been using my ISP to host images. It's not the fastest. But since Comcast provides the service as part of membership, I like to take advantage of it. This leaves free websites open to those who don't have ISPs that provide that service.
This requires a program, I use Filezilla. Your ISP should provide the basic info you will need to allow you to upload your images. I can provide more specific info if you request it.
Since everone is posting images I made this ani-gif a while ago for another website. I don't know of the guy is a DUmmie, but he sure is an idiot.

No, that's me. There is a story about the ShutzenShnur (German weapons qualification badge) and I wanted to post one of my pics wearing it (at the wife's suggestion). It's the silver cord and medal on the left side.

There is no pic. Follow the link in post 3 to html bootcamp and see if someone shows up to help. I'll check in later and share what little I know.
