Thank you TAS. I'm still paying for that trip...my neck and shoulders are very sore from the recoil! That's ok though...it's well worth the pain! :)

Yes, it is...we entertained in the family room this evening...set up an old card table and the girls played hearts, ate chicken and turkey sandwiches, and did a lot of laughing and teasing.
Nana's sister, her best friend and her MIL were all over. I kinda stayed in the background and let them enjoy each others' company. Good therapy, I figured...and the smiles told me I was right.

"Next year Kidlett will get her own rifle."
Are you starting her on a .22?
I created a new name for Hillary today: Canklesaurus.

If I've been absent for a few posts..
It's because I am looking for images to keep the Saga going..
It's very challenging, but I'm hooked!
I LOVE it!

I know...I keep telling my friends they don't have anything to worry about. I wouldn't dare shoot them.
Unless they did something really stupid :) /kidding>

Yark! Point well taken! LOL! Ours is 48 right now..and that seems pretty cool to me. I didn't realize how high up it is. Seems I have a lot to learn about your state.
I sure hope Nana is going to be up to visiting us somehow! I would hate to come all that way and not meet you two! (((hugs)))

Welllll, I wondered where you had crept off to! Nah...I kind of figured you were writing or something. It is quite a challenge, is it not? Star gave me the link to the entire Saga and it's fun to go through the whole thing...to get context.

We're going to a wedding at the end of February in Cottonwood...that's the next town below Sedona.
I'm still trying to convince her she needs to go back to Sedona for a getaway, but back to back trips like that are not her forte.
We'll see...push comes to shove, we may just have to treat you guys to lunch or dinner when you come through. We're 30 miles off the Interstate before you get to Tucson.

She is shooting a single shot 22 in the NRA right now. She enjoys it very much. That will be what we get her...and she will help her little brother learn before he starts the NRA.

I lived in Dayton for a few years, and remember how cold winter could be...I'm really enjoying it here in Arizona right now!
Of course, as you saw, parts of the state can get downright cold! We have a 9000' peak about 10 miles south of the house here.
